Ch 127: I Must Save Him
Watching the terrifying, chilling attack coming their way, Yu Kai furrowed his brows, secretly feeling uneasy in his heart. He knew that Wang Meng’s strength was unfathomable, and he was definitely no match for him. He dared not hesitate, immediately wielding his longsword to meet the attack, simultaneously screaming towards the cockpit, “Get out of here, I’ll hold him off!”
“Clang!” The longsword and battleaxe collided violently, a wave of terrifying power, as if substantial, violently swept around. Instantly, both warships were directly shaken far away by the immense impact force. Both pilots’ faces were as pale as paper, desperately controlling their warships to retreat rapidly, using all their strength to maintain balance.
Yu Kai and Wang Meng rapidly glided backward in the air, their shoes violently scraping against the air, spurting out dazzling sparks. After slightly steadying themselves, they again charged at each other like two burning meteors, their weapons constantly clashing, the clang of metal incessant, making people’s eardrums ache.
Huang Tianrui took the opportunity to stabilize his warship and swiftly evacuated. The Dark Abyss Demon Alliance’s warships, however, relentlessly pursued like a pack of ferocious wolves, various attack magics falling like rain, causing the warship to tremble and shake continuously.
“Brother!” Niuniu, anxious and distressed, wanted to rush out to help regardless of the consequences, but was firmly held back by Wu Xiaohu.
“Niuniu, your injuries haven’t healed yet, you absolutely must not act rashly. You rushing out now will only distract Young Master. Let’s evacuate first, Young Master will soon catch up,” Wu Xiaohu tried his best to persuade, large beads of sweat rolling down his forehead, his expression extremely anxious.
“Unseal me, I’ll go help him!” Yin Ziling stared intently at the direction of the great battle between Yu Kai and the others, her beautiful eyes filled with worry, turning to Niuniu urgently said.
The warship continuously suffered attacks, shaking violently, as if it could fall apart at any moment. Niuniu, however, stared fixedly at Yin Ziling, remaining silent, her eyes filled with hesitation and vigilance, her heart struggling fiercely.
“That’s right, quickly unseal us! If we fall into the hands of the Dark Abyss Demon Alliance, we will surely die without a burial place. They have always been at odds with the Heavenly Court, they will never spare us,” Huang Tianrui anxiously said.
“Indeed, after getting along for this period of time, we know you are not vicious thugs. Unseal us, and let’s fight together. When we return to the Heavenly Court, we will certainly plead for you,” Yin Ziling spoke again, her face anxious.
Tu Yulang, Yin Wuji, and the other Heaven’s Prodigies also repeatedly said “Mm! Mm!”, looking forward, their eyes filled with longing for freedom.
Wu Xiaohu, looking at the precarious warship that seemed on the verge of collapse, knew that continuing like this meant certain death. His expression was anxious as he looked at Niuniu. He understood that if he unsealed them now, they might be able to resist the Dark Abyss Demon Alliance, but with his and Niuniu’s injuries not fully recovered, they would certainly be unable to suppress them, and might very likely be captured by them.
“Fine! I will unseal you!” Niuniu stared at Yin Ziling, her gaze firm. She decided to gamble. If Yin Ziling sincerely helped, the crisis might be resolved. If it was just a deception to mislead Yu Kai, then it would also allow Yu Kai to see her true face sooner.
Under the anxious gaze of the other Heaven’s Prodigies, Niuniu swiftly unsealed Yin Ziling. Instantly, a powerful and immense aura surged out. Yin Wuji, “Mm mm”-ing, came forward wanting her to help unseal him. However, Yin Ziling ignored him, her figure flashing, quickly flying outside.
Arriving outside the warship, she rapidly moved her hands, instantly erecting an incredibly strong defensive barrier, blocking the incoming Heavenly Thunder and the dense arrow rain. Simultaneously, a giant Vermillion Bird appeared in the sky. Its wings flapped violently, and it spat out huge fireballs from its mouth, carrying rolling heat waves, toward the pursuing warships behind.
“Boom boom boom!” Deafening sounds exploded consecutively behind them, fire soaring into the sky. Their attacks were strongly suppressed, their speed slowed, and Huang Tianrui seized the opportunity to control the warship to accelerate to its full strength, gradually pulling away from them.
The battle between Yu Kai and Wang Meng became increasingly fierce. The powerful aftershocks were like stormy waves, collapsing the mountains below. The earth trembled violently, as if the apocalypse was about to arrive. After all, the disparity in strength was too great. The mysterious spiritual energy that Yu Kai could mobilize gradually depleted in the fierce confrontation. His resistance became increasingly difficult, his movements gradually slowed, making him feel powerless.
“Puchi!” With a sound, Yu Kai was directly struck by Wang Meng’s powerful and heavy axe. The mecha on his chest was instantly cut open with a deep gash, blood gushing out like a fountain, a horrifying sight.
Yu Kai dared not hesitate, dragging his injured body to desperately flee. He activated the Wind Law to its limit, his figure like a stream of light, swiftly gliding through the air, bringing with it a sharp whistling sound.
“Where do you think you’re going!” Wang Meng fiercely chased after him, his eyes wide with anger, constantly roaring, his battleaxe repeatedly slashing out, the terrifying axe light like the shadow of death pursuing Yu Kai relentlessly. Yu Kai narrowly dodged with his keen perception, the axe light whistling past him, fiercely cleaving into the earth. The entire earth seemed to be torn apart by a giant beast, violently shaking, split open with a bottomless, huge gap, dust flying up, obscuring the sky and the sun.
Yin Ziling sensed the powerful fluctuations from behind, her heart filled with anxiety, immediately retracting the Vermillion Bird phantom that was attacking. Like the wind, she dashed toward the cockpit. She quickly unsealed Yin Wuji, directly ignoring Niuniu’s icy gaze, and looked at Yin Wuji saying, “Brother, don’t harm them, take them away!”
“What are you doing?” Yin Wuji grabbed her arm, his eyes filled with urgency.
“I’m going to save him!” Yin Ziling’s gaze was as firm as steel, breaking free from Yin Wuji’s grasp, her figure flashing, quickly charging outwards.
“Sister!” Yin Wuji quickly rushed out, looking at her back and shouting loudly. “How can you be so foolish, what’s so good about that youngster?” His voice was filled with helplessness and anxiety.
“Boom boom boom!” Without Yin Ziling’s suppression, the attacks from the warships behind poured down like a downpour. The entire warship shook violently, emitting unbearable creaking sounds, seeming about to collapse and disintegrate the next second.
Yin Wuji dared not delay, quickly rushing into the cockpit, unsealing all the Heaven’s Prodigies. Afterward, his figure like lightning, immediately flew outwards.
Seeing this, Tian Xiaopeng and the others immediately surrounded Niuniu and Wu Xiaohu like ferocious wolves, their eyes full of ferocity.
Wu Xiaohu, wielding a broadsword, retreated repeatedly with Niuniu, whose fangs were exposed. Just as they were about to make a move, Huang Tianrui, who was piloting the warship, suddenly roared, “Everyone run, the warship is about to explode!”
Huang Tianrui immediately stood up from the pilot’s seat. His action immediately scared the Heaven’s Prodigies into abandoning their attack on Niuniu and the others, desperately rushing outwards.
