The first thing that came out as soon as I regained consciousness was a cough. My entire mouth was dry. I moved my tongue to roughly sweep my cheeks and gums and sat up.

It was a very educational experience that allowed me to understand why the main character, dragged into the Abyss in the game, fainted and woke up. There wasn’t a single part of my body that didn’t hurt.

The surroundings were completely dark. Up, down, front, back. Every place my eyes could reach was dyed black. If it weren’t for the Abyss beneath my feet, I would have undoubtedly lost my sense of direction.

The floor was covered in the Abyss, which looked like black mud, making me feel instantly bad just by looking at it. There was no solid ground anywhere. The only substances forming the space were the Abyss and shadows.

At least it was fortunate that it didn’t block rolling like the bottom floor of the rune dungeon.

I fiddled with the back of my left hand. The reason why the ‘Abyss Within Peace’ rune was essential for the Creature Abandoned by God boss fight was because of this space, which was engulfed in the Abyss and shadows.

Also, if you enter here wearing the rune and then remove it, the player character will be engulfed in shadows and die instantly, and the body will sink into the Abyss below.
