“Using a Talent Potion can boost your talent! Oh right, you don’t have the money to buy one, so your space must be pretty small.”

Hearing that Yu Duoduo couldn’t afford a Talent Potion, Yu Baobao immediately started gloating again.

“Maybe!”

Yu Duoduo didn’t want to bother with this half-sister anymore. She couldn’t understand why Yu Baobao always targeted her when she’d never provoked her in the first place.

“Little sister, let me test first. My two brothers-in-law are still waiting for me outside.”

Soon, Yu Duoduo took her place on the testing platform. It was her first time experiencing an official test like this, and she felt a bit nervous.

So, she increased her mental power to resist it. At first, it had no effect, but as she kept pushing her mental strength harder, the force gradually slowed down.

Seeing it was working, Yu Duoduo ramped up her mental power even more. This time, the force slowly came to a halt, and the instrument on the testing platform stopped at 61.2.

This meant the final test result was 61.2 square meters—an impressively high number.

Yu Duoduo’s talent test results were quickly announced. Yu Baobao, who hadn’t left yet, saw them right away. Her face turned sour, and she tried to slip away quietly.

But Yu Duoduo wasn’t about to let her off that easily.

“Big sister, are you leaving? Seeing your little sister with such great talent, shouldn’t you congratulate me?”

Yu Baobao now felt like she’d swallowed a fly—utterly disgusted!

“Congratulations, little sister. I never thought you’d have such amazing talent. Who’d have guessed you could awaken something this good on Garbage Star?”

“Talented people can awaken anywhere. What do you think, big sister?”

“Right, right. Talent can awaken anywhere.”

“Since big sister said before that she’d take care of me, I’m not the type to be unreasonable. Let’s just keep to ourselves from now on and avoid each other.”

“Our relationship was never good to begin with, so there’s no need to keep up this fake sisterly affection act every day. It’s exhausting.”

Watching Yu Baobao’s ever-changing expressions, Yu Duoduo felt an indescribable satisfaction. No wonder people say, “As long as I’m shameless enough, trouble won’t find me.”

After saying her piece, Yu Duoduo walked off without a second thought. They still had to check out the dorms later.

As she exited the testing hall, she spotted two towering figures at the entrance: Leng Ruoheng and Shi Yichen.

Seeing Yu Duoduo, the two men—who were thrilled she wasn’t accompanied by any other guys this time—excitedly rushed toward her.

“Finished testing? We can head to the dorms now and help you move in,” Leng Ruoheng said gently.

“Right, since both Big Brother and I are here today, we can pick up anything you might need,” Shi Yichen chimed in.

“Yeah, I’m done. We can go check out the dorms now and drop off some stuff there.”

The trio quickly left the freshman registration area and headed toward the dormitories.

The First Military Academy was huge. Leng Ruoheng had initially wanted to use a floating car, but Shi Yichen stopped him, explaining that private vehicles weren’t allowed on campus.

Luckily, the school had public transportation. As a First Military Academy graduate, Shi Yichen knew all about it and took the lead for the rest of the trip.

“Duoduo, let me tell you, try to avoid public transport if you can. Every morning, it’s packed with people—so crowded you can barely squeeze on, especially the last few shuttles before you’re late.”

“The academy’s cafeterias are all pretty decent, but the best one’s at the Planting Academy—oh, that’s your academy, isn’t it!”

“Back when I didn’t know better, I thought you could only eat at your own academy’s cafeteria. The food at the Mecha Academy? Hard to describe in one word—it was awful!”

“Later, I found out you could eat at any cafeteria. Whenever I had free time, I’d hit up every single one. In the end, the Planting Academy’s was the best, but it was so far from our academy. I only ate there a handful of times during my whole school career. Wonder if we’ll get to eat there today?”

That’s right—Shi Yichen was a graduate of the First Military Academy’s Mecha Department. Rumor has it he was the top student in his year and quite the campus legend.

“Then let’s head to our cafeteria later. That way, you two can feel more at ease about it in the future.”

“Good.”

“Good.”

The two replied in unison.

The trio soon arrived at the dorms. This building housed all the female freshman dormitories, and for the next few days, it was open to make it convenient for parents to visit.

When Yu Duoduo opened the dorm door, the layout was immediately clear: a central living area with four doors leading off in different directions.

The living area was furnished with standard everyday items—nothing special. Yu Duoduo quickly found her assigned door, number two.

Opening door number two, she discovered it was a three-room suite. Besides a bedroom and bathroom, there was a kitchen, a living room, and—most surprisingly—a workspace and an entertainment room.

“Tsk tsk, so this is what the girls’ dorms at the First Military Academy are like? This blows the guys’ dorms out of the water,” Shi Yichen marveled.

“Second Brother’s never seen the girls’ dorms?”

“Nope. Back when I was a student, all I cared about was improving my skills and building better mechas. Who had time to check out the girls’ dorms?”

“So what were the guys’ dorms like, Second Brother?”

“What’s there to say about the guys’ dorms? It’s the same deal outside—a big living area, plus a gym room. Then four doors, but here’s the thing: each door just led to a single room with a bathroom.”
