Just as Yu Guagua burst from the ruins, Ultraman had just completely eliminated Impreza.

The originally harmonious and happy village was now filled with cries of anguish, countless fires burning within it.

This state of affairs lasted for several months before returning to normal. They were completely unaware of what had happened, as their memories of the event had been erased.

When night fell, the entire village once again fell silent. But unknown to them, a group of mysterious people were methodically checking equipment.

That night, the four children didn’t sleep. They sat on their beds and looked at each other.

After several days of Yu Guagua’s experiments, it was discovered that every location in the village had a strange device capable of recording their every move.

Yu Guagua called the others to his side. They formed a tent with blankets and chatted about inconsequential things.

Yu Guagua sat up and used a small lamp to illuminate the darkness inside the blankets. For the past few months, they had learned nothing but sign language.

Yu Guagua gestured with his hands, revealing some secrets about the church. He vaguely sensed something was amiss.

“I suspect we are test subjects; there’s a huge conspiracy here.”

The three children’s faces changed. They were geniuses, and even at six years old, their intelligence was unmatched by ordinary people.

Their gazes were filled with doubt, even disbelief. Zeng Yi covered her mouth, implying that their younger brothers and sisters were currently trapped in hell.

“How could we possibly be their opponents?”

Li Ziyi also gestured with his hands. Yu Guagua’s eyes were serious as he revealed a secret he had kept hidden.

“I heard strange noises in Shushu Mama’s room.”

“I need your help.”

“Help?”

The three children gathered closer, nervously watching Yu Guagua. Help? How could they help?

Yu Guagua explained his plan. The basement was unlocked, and he had discovered a hidden compartment leading to a mysterious place.

This mysterious place seemed to hold Shushu Mama’s secrets. Because the church’s surveillance was pervasive, he needed the others to distract Shushu Mama.

Only if Shushu Mama was distracted would they have a chance to enter her room.

Without hesitation, the four children began to arrange their plan. Zeng Yi and one other would distract Shushu Mama while the other two would sneak into the basement.

“Shushu Mama, something’s wrong! Something’s wrong!”

“Waaah!”

“Zeng Yi seems unwell.”

Wu Xiaxia then ran directly to Shushu Mama’s room, knocking forcefully on the door. Shushu Mama, looking somewhat dazed, rushed over.

Seeing Shushu Mama leave, Yu Guagua and the other child emerged from behind a bookshelf and slipped into Shushu Mama’s room.

Immediately, Yu Guagua looked around and noticed a strange crack by the side door. He gently tapped it, and the previously sealed wall instantly opened.

The inside was brightly lit, with a large door directly ahead. Yu Guagua’s eyes flashed with excitement. He calmed himself, had Li Ziyi stand by the door, took off his clothes, and stepped forward to open it.

“What!?”

Yu Guagua instantly froze. He… he saw a woman who looked exactly like his aunt and mother!?

The moment the woman saw Yu Guagua, she went completely mad. As she moved, the chains began to clang loudly.

“Ha, hahaha!”

“You’re here, you’re here!?”

“In the North! In the North!”

In an instant, the secret room was filled with her voice. Yu Guagua quickly closed the door and ran out.

Shushu Mama looked at Zeng Yi, knowing she was faking, but suddenly realizing something, her face turned ashen, and she strode away.

Zeng Yi’s heart skipped a beat as she watched Shushu Mama leave abruptly.

Yu Guagua had just emerged from the secret room, the door slowly closing. The two listened as Shushu Mama’s footsteps drew closer, cold sweat dripping from their foreheads.

“Quick!”

They knew they couldn’t escape. What could they do!?

Yu Guagua scanned the room, noticing a book on Shushu Mama’s desk. He found a curtain and hid behind it.

“Creak, creak.”

Through the curtain, they saw Shushu Mama, her hair disheveled, searching the room.

She suddenly noticed four feet under the curtain. Slowly, she walked over.

The two watched through the curtain as Shushu Mama drew closer. Their hearts felt like they would leap from their chests.

“It’s, it’s over…”

Li Ziyi felt he was about to meet his end, as they had stumbled upon Shushu Mama’s secret.

“Thump, thump!”

The silence was terrifying, only their heartbeats audible. Shushu Mama was separated from them only by a curtain; she stood right before them.

Shushu Mama pulled back the curtain, seeing Yu Guagua and the other child, pale-faced, looking at her like they had done something wrong.

“It’s over!”

Li Ziyi felt all his strength drain away. Shushu Mama looked at them with a strange, emotionless smile. She said without feeling,

“What are you doing here?”

Both reached behind them. Faced with Shushu Mama’s questioning, they didn’t know what to say.

“Take out what’s behind you.”

Shushu Mama looked at Yu Guagua with displeasure, wondering if this little brat had seen something.

Yu Guagua fearfully looked at Shushu Mama and took out a book from behind him—the astronomy book they had previously read.

“I, I wanted to look…”

“And then I wanted to get it.”

“Shushu Mama, we’re sorry. We shouldn’t have taken it.”

Yu Guagua said weakly, his head down, looking like he was about to cry.

Seeing this, Shushu Mama looked at the book, unsure what to say, relieved inside.

Shushu Mama patted their heads. She recognized the book as the one they had been reading.

“Didn’t Shushu Mama say you shouldn’t read at night, that it’ll ruin your eyes? Didn’t I say I’d give it to you in a few days?”

Yu Guagua mumbled, looking up.

“I, I wanted to read it now…”

“Alright, it’s late. Go to bed.”

Shushu Mama took the book from Yu Guagua’s hand and sent them out. Li Ziyi walked out of the room in a daze, like a zombie, slowly making his way to their room.

Shushu Mama’s appearance was the most terrifying thing he had ever seen. Yu Guagua, meanwhile, kept thinking about the mad woman’s words.
