Ch 660: Past grievances are forgotten, the future is bright.
T Country, Mei Ling Bar.
As she prepared to depart for home, Su Ling’er went to Jing Hua’s Room. By this time, his wounds had almost completely healed.
Jing Hua looked at her, offering a weak and helpless smile. “You’re leaving.”
“Yes, and you? Where are you planning to go after this?” Su Ling’er clasped her hands over her abdomen, offering a demure smile as she looked down at Jing Hua.
“I’m also going back home.”
Saying this, Jing Hua looked towards the Boss at the door. “I’m very grateful to the Boss; he’s already processed my passport and bought my airplane ticket.”
Su Ling’er’s eyes lit up. “Then… are you going to be on the same flight back home with us?”
“Is that possible?”
Jing Hua asked softly, after all, Tang Song was still watching him intently from the doorway.
Su Ling’er nodded with a smile. “Of course!”
The Boss coughed uncomfortably. “Why don’t you two go first? Jing Hua and I will take the next flight.”
Tang Song was taken aback. “Uncle, you’re going back home too?”
The Boss glanced subconsciously at Tang Minghui, and said calmly, “Someone forced me to return home; I have to give him some face, don’t I?”
“Humph! That rambling personality of yours hasn’t changed a bit!” Tang Minghui snorted angrily.
Tang Minghui had originally been a refined and elegant person, but since arriving in T Country and seeing his younger brother whom he hadn’t seen for many years, that refined elegance had vanished without a trace.
“Boss, a guest has arrived,” the Waiter reminded respectfully.
The guests were naturally Han Du’er and Lao Bao.
They had come to deliver a Wedding Invitation. The wedding was to be held next month, right here in T Country.
Looking at the invitation handed to him, a sense of relief washed over Tang Song. After all these years, she was doing well.
“I’m sorry for what happened back then.”
In the past, he had threatened and restrained Han Du’er, causing her pain and forcibly keeping her by his side. Thinking about it now, he had been an inhumane wretch back then.
Han Du’er was startled, then smiled slightly. “It’s not your fault.”
It was just fate playing tricks on people.
Su Ling’er also came over. She extended a hand, looking demure with a sweet smile. “Older Sister, don’t worry, I’ll take good care of this reclusive patient.”
In her eyes, Tang Song had never been sunny or cheerful, so she wanted to help him overcome his reclusiveness.
Han Du’er took her hand. “Thank you.”
Lao Bao slung an arm around Tang Song’s shoulder. “See? Heaven has been pretty good to you. After all these years of stubborn suffering, it’s given you a beautiful, considerate, and well-behaved girlfriend!”
“Isn’t my older sister beautiful, considerate, and well-behaved?” Su Ling’er frowned slightly, deliberately picking a fight with her future brother-in-law.
Han Du’er also looked at Lao Bao, waiting for his response.
Lao Bao hadn’t expected this, scratching the back of his head in embarrassment. “Your older sister isn’t just beautiful, considerate, and well-behaved. Her good qualities are like the stars in the sky; you can’t count them all.”
“Tsk tsk! Brother-in-law, you’re forcefully showing off your affection!” Su Ling’er teased.
Liu Lian, who had been absent-minded, suddenly stepped forward. She took out a delicate and small Gift Box and offered it to Han Du’er.
“What happened back then was my Aunt’s fault. She said many hurtful things to you. I’m truly sorry. This is a small token of apology from my Aunt; please accept it.”
Han Du’er was taken aback by the gesture, accepting the box with both hands and quickly saying, “I’ve never blamed my Aunt for her actions back then. Aunt, you don’t need to apologize to me.”
“This is a Jade Pendant my mother personally picked out for a long time! Older Sister, you should take a look!” Tang Bai acted as a very cute little helper.
The Box was opened, revealing a rabbit-shaped Jade Pendant. The rabbit was carved vividly, its eyes particularly lively, perfectly matching Han Du’er’s zodiac animal.
