Ch 653: A Grand Battle
The weather was clear, the courtyard covered in thick snow. Rarely was there a day without falling snow, yet cars drove into the courtyard one after another.
Xue Yang stood tall and straight on the second-floor balcony. Today, he wore a suit and tie, looking exceptionally dignified.
Watching the people getting out of the cars, all dressed up, caused the corners of his lips to curve upwards slightly.

“Don’t be nervous, oh~” Yi Qianqian and Ning Qing got out of the car, hand in hand.

Xue Baba was stunned, not even realizing when the newspaper slipped from his hands. “What is the meaning of this?”
The leader, of course, was Tan Mobai. Even if he didn’t want to lead, the others would push him forward.
“We are here to see you and Aunt.”
As soon as he finished speaking, Xue Yang came downstairs.
“Girl, come here.”
Ning Qing cautiously glanced at Xue Baba and Xue Mama. “Hello, Uncle and Aunt.” Then she walked towards Xue Yang.
Xue Yang held her hand tightly and faced his parents. “Mom and Dad, this is my girlfriend, Ning Qing.”
Xue Baba snorted, instantly understanding the reason for the large gathering. These young people were afraid they would eat Ning Qing alive!
Xue Mama frowned slightly. “All of you come in.”
“Yes,” everyone responded in unison.
Tan Mobai sighed to the heavens. He should have stayed at the company today. What was he doing meddling here? Mu Jingran and Murong Yu were enough; those two could make black seem white and the dead seem alive!
Xue Baba and Xue Mama sat on one side, Xue Yang and Ning Qing sat opposite them, with their massive support group behind them.
“I disagree!”
Xue Baba’s voice boomed.
These blunt words stunned the group of young people. It was too direct; no preamble, just outright disagreement.
Ning Qing, already nervous, became even more so.
Xue Yang squeezed her hand. “It’s okay.”
“Don’t think your mother and I don’t know about this girl’s past. Reckless and irresponsible, causing trouble for her family. Such a person, how can she be your wife? How can she manage your household in the future?” Xue Baba was extremely concerned for his son.
Xue Mama agreed, nodding silently.
“Uncle and Aunt, I was immature in the past. Looking back, I feel like my past self was a terrible person,” Ning Qing said with the utmost sincerity.
“Teenagers will always rebel and make mistakes. But as long as they learn from their mistakes, it’s fine. Uncle and Aunt are very broad-minded people, you won’t hold a teenager’s past rebellion against them, right?” Mu Jingran’s few words left Xue Baba and Xue Mama speechless, even slightly embarrassed.
