Fortunately, things went their way; the official did not recognize them, and Chen Dian and Suying finally escaped his sight without incident.
After a brief sigh of relief, Chen Dian did not stop. He knew it was not wise to stay. After careful investigation, he had a general understanding of the surrounding environment and situation, and a rescue plan gradually formed in his mind.
Chen Dian and Suying exchanged a glance, understanding each other. Taking advantage of the cover of the crowd, they carefully found an opportunity and, like ghosts, quietly left Hula City.

However, the official would not let them go so easily. Seeing Chen Dian and Suying escape, he was furious and immediately chased after them with a group of minor demons. These minor demons were no pushovers; they moved like ghosts in the night, their speed not much slower than Chen Dian’s.
As the distance between them narrowed, Chen Dian became more anxious. At this critical moment, a group of Yu City soldiers, clad in armor and carrying long spears, suddenly appeared! Chen Dian had been foresighted and had arranged for these soldiers to provide support before he escaped.
The soldiers, seeing Chen Dian and Suying, immediately shouted in unison, their morale boosted. They quickly rendezvoused with Chen Dian, forming an unbreakable defense line that blocked the official and the minor demons’ path. A fierce battle ensued, shouts and the clash of weapons echoing through the night.
Chen Dian and the soldiers fought bravely, cooperating seamlessly and supporting each other, neutralizing the demons’ attacks. Although the official was powerful, facing so many soldiers, he gradually became overwhelmed.
After a hard battle, Chen Dian and the soldiers successfully repelled the official and the minor demons. Seeing the enemy’s retreating figures, Chen Dian finally breathed a sigh of relief. He turned to Suying, found that although she was still a little shaken, she was unharmed, and a huge weight was lifted from his heart.
