Chapter 72: Launch Day Speech!
Tomorrow(8th), it’s launch day, updating at the usual time!
Let me give you a number, ten chapters for launch day!
To show my sincerity!
First of all, thank you very much for your support! My last book was a flop, so naturally, I have no shame in writing a launch day speech!
This book, thanks to everyone’s support, should not be considered a flop, so I’m writing this launch day speech with a thick face.
But I’ve never written this thing before, I don’t know how to write it, so I’m just gonna write whatever comes to mind.
Recalling the experience of writing for over a year, this time last year, I was still frowning over getting a contract, sometimes it feels like a lifetime ago.
Last year, I wrote a 440,000-word novel, and it wasn’t even contracted when I finished it.
Every two weeks, I would click the contract application button in the background, hoping to get signed, as for launching and making money, I never even thought about it.
Later I found out that the contract application button is basically just a psychological comfort!
Contracts are all based on editors taking the initiative to send private messages!
That half year was truly an indescribable experience, making me doubt myself, wondering if I was not suitable for writing novels.
The last book was also directly written to almost 100,000 words, and I was ready to give up when I met editor Penglai, who gave me a hand and allowed me to sign the contract smoothly.
Otherwise, I don’t know when I would have been able to sign.
Because of this, the last book was written hastily, a pure flop!
As for this book, to be honest, I didn’t expect such good results! I’m really baffled, and even feel pressured.
I just wanted to write an interesting story, make a living, why are so many people reading it!
I’m thinking, what if it collapses, what if the readers don’t like it?
Sometimes I get anxious and repeatedly revise certain chapters, even introducing bugs.
Later I thought, I didn’t consider so much when writing it, why not just write according to my original ideas?
Then I felt relieved.
✿✿✿
Just write the story you want to write!
Tomorrow, the subscription launches, if it reaches the expected target, I will add two more chapters, let everyone have a good read!
As for the target, I won’t say it, lest I fail to achieve it and be called arrogant, making a fool of myself!
Newbie authors are just so humble!
So after reaching the target, I will naturally add more chapters.
As for the leader adding chapters… a humble newbie author has never even seen a leader.
Forget it! It’s not easy for everyone to make money, the economic environment hasn’t been very good these past two years!
Those readers who can afford it, please subscribe, vote monthly, and give your support!
Let the humble newbie author reach the expected target, it can be considered as achieving a writing goal!
Those who can’t afford it, just show your support, vote with the free recommendation tickets!
Reading is like this, if you think it’s good, keep chasing it! If you think I’m not writing well, you don’t have to force yourself!
Reading is all about having fun!
Finally, thanks again for your support!
I will write every chapter well, try to make myself satisfied before sending it out. Take every chapter seriously, don’t fool everyone’s subscription!
A social animal who loves to write, luck won’t be too bad!
Launch day speech over!
(This length is about the same as my year-end summary back then! Ha~)
(Feel free to go to the comment check-in post and grab some wool! Unfortunately, yours truly is the sheep!)
