Chapter 433: Lacking a Beating from Society
Young Master Bei ignored Li Feng and turned to Zheng Tianyu, saying, “Brother Zheng, I heard that your younger brother was killed by a Otherworlder. Is this true?”
Everyone was startled and looked at Young Master Bei. Could he know something?
Li Feng’s heart skipped a beat, a bad feeling rising within him.
“No one on Tianlong Star would dare to harm my brother. Only those Otherworlders would be so rampant. If Brother Bei has any leads, please tell me. I owe you one.”
Zheng Tianyu nodded. His father was Wan Zhutianlong, ruler of two-tenths of this planet, with immense power. Who would dare provoke his brother?
“Brother Zheng’s brother was powerful, not easily killed. And the incident occurred near the capital. Only one person here fits the profile,” Young Master Bei said calmly.
He didn’t name names, but Li Feng was the only one present without an invitation.
Li Feng sensed the change in the surrounding gazes.
“Do you have proof?” Zheng Tianyu’s eyes sharpened, like a celestial sword, chilling to the bone.
Everyone was shocked. The divine power fluctuations emanating from him enveloped the entire Immortal Island, filled with a murderous aura.
Li Feng remained calm, but his divine power was at its peak, ready to fight his way out.
“No proof, just my speculation,” Young Master Bei shook his head.
The oppressive atmosphere eased. Zheng Tianyu’s gaze softened. Many looked at Li Feng, waiting for his response.
“On my way in, Young Master Bei tried to use killing intent to suppress me, but I broke his Dao Heart. It’s normal for him to seek revenge. I just didn’t expect him to slander me!” Li Feng said calmly.
“Is that true?” The crowd was surprised. They had arrived early and were unaware of the prior conflict.
Zheng Tianyu’s pressure receded. He remained silent, his thoughts unknown.
Young Master Bei clenched his fists, face grim. He had no real evidence, only speculation. But a seed of doubt in Zheng Tianyu’s mind would be enough.
“Fatty, aren’t you being too insidious? It was just a small conflict, yet you crippled my friend. Don’t you owe me an explanation?” Three-Headed Serpent spoke, eyes cold.
“An explanation? What explanation? I was merely defending myself. If I weren’t strong enough, I’d be the one crippled,” Li Feng scoffed.
If it were an ordinary person facing that killing intent, they might have been scarred for life.
“Regardless, you went too far. You should be punished. Cripple your own Divine Core!” Three-Headed Serpent said calmly, like a king passing judgment.
Li Feng laughed in fury. “Cripple my Divine Core? You’re not strong enough!”
“Are you forcing me to do this myself?” Three-Headed Serpent narrowed his eyes, a dangerous glint in them.
“Isn’t this a bit much? Young Master Bei attacked first, lost, and now Three-Headed Serpent wants to cripple Fatty’s cultivation over a minor injury?” Zhou Tong muttered.
The others remained silent. Even Zheng Tianyu said nothing. They were just guests; why invite trouble?
Besides, they suspected Zheng Tianyu had his doubts and was letting the conflict play out.
“So it comes to this.”
Li Feng sighed inwardly. He stepped forward, his palm descending like a heavenly stele towards Three-Headed Serpent. “Since you want revenge, I’ll just suppress you.”
His palm seemed to contain countless laws, constantly evolving, thousands of them in an instant, interwoven, radiating terrifying power and blinding light.
“You’re courting death!” Three-Headed Serpent roared. Its scales stood on end, glinting like blades, slashing at Li Feng’s hand, aiming to sever his arm.
*Bang!*
A deafening clang resounded. The power of law, like a furnace, nearly melted Three-Headed Serpent. Scales flew, shattered, and blood flowed.
Everyone was stunned. The mighty Three-Headed Serpent, suppressed by Invincible War God’s single palm strike.
“He calls himself Invincible for a reason. But that title is just asking for trouble,” Zhou Tong whispered.
In the distance, the Silver-Haired Woman’s eyes narrowed. She regretted calling Li Feng a country bumpkin. She hadn’t expected him to be so strong.
“You’re dead!” Three-Headed Serpent roared. Two heads opened, spewing fire and water, radiant and intertwined, alternating hot and cold, shattering the very space around them.
“Dark Kingdom!”
Buddhas appeared behind Li Feng, radiating golden-black light. They chanted sutras, and countless scriptures descended, shaking the Immortal Island with their power.
*Boom!*
The fire and water were stopped, pushed back into a towering wall, evaporating, unable to reach Li Feng.
“Die!”
Three-Headed Serpent attacked again, its body whipping forward like a lash, tearing a rift in the sky.
Li Feng met it with a fist, Eternal Law swirling around it, glowing like twin suns, emanating a vast and terrifying aura, shattering the heavens.
*Boom!* Like divine thunder, the fist sent Three-Headed Serpent flying, its body riddled with cracks, blood raining down.
“How dare you compare yourself to me? I was born extraordinary, with powerful laws at my command. I will kill you!” Three-Headed Serpent charged, face contorted, eyes shooting beams that pierced the void.
“Being born strong doesn’t guarantee continued strength. Some walk step by step, from mortal to god, becoming even more terrifying,” Li Feng’s palm descended, shattering the beams.
His fists were like swords, unleashing Heavenly Derivation Sword Technique. Starlight fell, stars orbiting him.
He had used this technique for a long time. Though it had vanished from his attribute panel, he could still wield it. Each starlight turned into killing intent, filling the void.
*Boom!* This time, one of Three-Headed Serpent’s heads exploded, blood raining down.
“Die!” Li Feng roared, diving down, his fist piercing through everything. Three-Headed Serpent screamed, another head exploding.
The enemy was too strong. Three-Headed Serpent’s roars of defiance were weak, its aura fading.
Li Feng, swift as lightning, seemed intent on killing Three-Headed Serpent.
◈◈◈
“He’s really going to kill it? Doesn’t he fear its older brother?” someone gasped. People feared Three-Headed Serpent because of its brother, a near-invincible High-Ranking God, feared even by Zheng Tianyu.
“Enough!”
Zheng Tianyu spoke, unable to watch Three-Headed Serpent die. He would bear some responsibility.
He appeared before Three-Headed Serpent in a flash, casually meeting Li Feng’s fist.
*Boom!* Zheng Tianyu shuddered, feeling the terrifying energy from the fist, threatening to tear him apart. But with a burst of divine power, he easily withstood it.
Li Feng, on the other hand, looked shocked, as if unable to believe his powerful blow had been so easily blocked.
“You’re quite strong, nearly unmatched among Middle Deities. No wonder Three-Headed Serpent lost. But show mercy. For my sake, spare its life, okay?” Zheng Tianyu said, having established his dominance.
Li Feng was furious. “This was started by that little snake. It must compensate me!”
“Dead Fatty, what did you say?” Three-Headed Serpent, down to one head, was still fierce, eyes filled with unconcealed killing intent.
Its hatred for Li Feng had reached its peak.
“Brother Zheng, it’s not that I don’t respect you, but look at that little snake, still glaring at me. Letting it go is like releasing a tiger back into the mountains. I might as well cook it into snake soup and invite you to feast,” Li Feng said with a menacing look.
“You dare? If you harm me, my brother will never forgive you,” Three-Headed Serpent trembled, its voice lacking conviction.
It finally realized this Fatty feared nothing. Without Zheng Tianyu, it would have been dead.
Zheng Tianyu was stunned. Snake soup? If he ate that, Eight-Headed Serpent would surely come after him. He regretted letting the conflict escalate.
“Of course, we can negotiate. I came for the Tianlong Essence Blood. Extract this Three-Headed Serpent’s Tianlong bloodline, and I’ll let it go,” Li Feng said, his goal clear.
“Tianlong Essence Blood, I can give you a jar in advance, Broth.Brother Invincible,” Zheng Tianyu said, the name sticking in his throat.
But the Fatty was strong, a near-invincible figure among Middle Deities, somewhat deserving of the title.
Li Feng took the Tianlong Essence Blood, a bright smile on his face, his killing intent instantly vanishing, his change of expression astonishing everyone.
Three-Headed Serpent glared at Li Feng and left the banquet.
Young Master Bei’s face was dark as he followed, his heart filled with hatred. “This isn’t over. The Myriad Dragons Domain is full of opportunities. I’ll rebuild my Dao Heart and make that kid pay a thousandfold.”
Their departure didn’t dampen the festivities.
Later that night, some began sparring, competing for Tianlong Essence Blood. But compared to Li Feng’s display of power, they seemed lackluster.
“This old silver-haired woman is strong?” Li Feng was surprised.
Light Tone Fairy, like a celestial being, her silver hair flowing, her figure graceful, danced in the air.
The dance was a powerful Daoist technique, unleashing countless laws, shaking the heavens, defeating several opponents, drawing gasps of admiration.
But Light Tone Fairy wasn’t happy. Her face was dark. She had heard Li Feng’s words and was fuming. She wanted to attack him. This country bumpkin was infuriating.
The others were speechless. Light Tone Fairy was young by god standards, yet she was being mocked like this.
“Ahem, Brother Invincible, Light Tone Fairy is still very young, like a 20-year-old mortal,” Zhou Tong explained.
Li Feng was unmoved. To him, a woman in her tens of thousands was too old to even be his great-grandmother.
*Whoosh!*
A terrifying blade intent filled the air. Heavenly Blade King arrived, his gaze fixed on Li Feng. “I challenge you!”
He had wanted to fight Li Feng before Zheng Tianyu arrived, but was stopped. Now, his fighting spirit was reignited.
Many turned to look. Li Feng was annoying, but undeniably strong, having defeated Three-Headed Serpent. Yet Heavenly Blade King still dared to challenge him.
“I’m not interested in little kids,” Li Feng waved him off. He had achieved his goal and saw no need for further fighting.
“Are you scared?” Heavenly Blade King’s gaze was piercing.
“You’re too young. I’m afraid I’ll make you cry, and you’ll run to your parents. Come back when you’re an adult,” Li Feng said, looking down on him, as if unwilling to stoop to a child’s level.
Heavenly Blade King was flushed with embarrassment. Some of the other prodigies chuckled. Though young, Heavenly Blade King was powerful, not to be underestimated. But Li Feng treated him like a child. If word got out, he’d be a laughingstock.
Li Feng pointed at Wuji War God. “Defeat him first, then you can challenge me.”
Wuji War God was caught in the crossfire. He had just defeated an opponent and was now being pushed forward. Zhou Tong was speechless. Li Feng was thick-skinned, cunning, and held grudges. He was clearly getting back at Wuji War God.
“Fine!” Heavenly Blade King, completely fooled, went to fight Wuji War God.
“Brother Invincible, is this really necessary?” Zhou Tong asked helplessly.
Li Feng was unfazed. “They’re all enemies anyway. Might as well give them some trouble. And this brat looks arrogant, clearly lacking a beating from society. I’m just tempering his Dao Heart.”
Everyone was speechless. Even Light Tone Fairy rolled her eyes.
