Ch 374: Jiang Feng Meets Huzi’s Boss

Jiang Feng was escorted by Xiao Kun all the way to Tiger’s House. As soon as they stepped through the gate, the men at the rear of the group quickly locked it.

Hearing the “bang” of the closing door and the “click” of the lock, Jiang Feng’s heart instantly sank.

One of the men standing near Jiang Feng removed the cloth bundle from his mouth and stepped back two paces.

“Then, are you Jin Long’s man?” Brother Qiang’s tone suddenly became stern.

Jiang Feng’s mind raced, trying to recall their complicated relationship in reality. In reality, there was no such Boss; Tiger later became the Boss, and Nie Chuan became Tiger’s subordinate. Had this Boss been killed by Tiger?

“Tiger is your man, would you really kill him?” Jiang Feng mustered his courage and asked back, trying to find a glimmer of hope in Brother Qiang’s answer.

“I am a reasonable man; what I say is what I mean. If you don’t believe me, you can ask these brothers.” Brother Qiang’s face showed a faint smile, making him seem even more sinister.

“I said I was Brother Long’s man, I… I wasn’t. I was just afraid of failure, afraid of Tiger’s revenge, so I said that. Tiger killed my friend, I was just taking revenge. Nothing else.”

“Avenging your friend, good! That’s loyal! But aren’t you afraid of death? Do you know what kind of person Tiger is? Did you dare to come alone for revenge? Do you regret it now?”

Jiang Feng hesitated, silently calculating for a few seconds, then said, “I regret it.” He paused, observing Brother Qiang’s reaction, but Brother Qiang’s expression remained unchanged.
