Ch 128: The Primordial Source Of Venus
They exited the cockpit, instantly bathed in dazzling light, spiritual energy surging. Everyone displayed their divine abilities; for a moment, colorful magic lights crisscrossed, blasting away the attacks from behind. Afterward, they each flew off in different directions.
Huang Tianrui looked at Niuniu and the others, his eyes complex, nodding slightly at them. Then, with a flash of movement, he swiftly charged off.
“Niuniu, let’s go quickly, the warship is about to explode!” Wu Xiaohu was frantic, veins bulging on his forehead. He shouted loudly while pulling Niuniu forcefully toward the outside.
As soon as Niuniu and the others stepped out, the entire warship was struck by several Heavenly Thunders. Accompanied by terrifying “crackling” sounds, the warship could no longer withstand the violent power. A deafening “boom!” resounded, and the entire warship instantly shattered. Niuniu and Wu Xiaohu were flung out by the violent explosion, tumbling helplessly in mid-air like falling leaves.
A giant net instantly spread from the rear warship, its speed as fast as lightning. Niuniu, tumbling and spitting blood, couldn’t react in time and was instantly enveloped by the net, dragged back to the warship.
Wu Xiaohu narrowly avoided the giant net. Watching Niuniu being dragged toward the warship, his face was filled with burning anxiety, his eyes instantly bloodshot. Before he could react, a dark shadow grabbed him and flung him far away.
On the other side, Yu Kai narrowly avoided a sharp blade aura again, his figure like lightning, speeding forward. Suddenly, he saw two warships stop, their sterns glittering. Numerous demon soldiers quickly organized a powerful attack formation at the stern. Heavenly Thunders carrying destruction shot from the warships, dense arrow rain following closely behind, like a sky-covering net, directly enveloping him.
Yu Kai hurriedly raised a defense, his spiritual energy shield shining. He struggled to withstand the overwhelming attack. Wang Meng followed closely behind, like a shadow.
Wang Meng gripped his battleaxe tightly, his muscles bulging, veins popping out. He glared fiercely, slashing down at Yu Kai in front of him, roaring, “Die!” The sound was like a thunderclap, deafening.
Yu Kai realized the unavoidable fatal blow, despair filling his heart, his face turning pale. At that critical moment, a sharp shriek sounded. A Vermillion Bird, burning with raging flames, shot from the front, instantly colliding with the terrifying blade aura of the descending battleaxe. “Psh!” A sound rang out, the terrifying blade aura directly splitting the Vermillion Bird in two, spiritual rain scattering, feathers falling.
The powerful impact current, like a violent storm, directly overturned Yu Kai and the warship in front. Yu Kai’s mecha was torn with jagged wounds, sparks flying. He tumbled through the air, seeing from afar Yin Ziling spitting out a mouthful of blood, flying backward like a broken kite.
Yin Wuji quickly stepped forward, his figure flashing like a ghost, catching her. He shouted at Yu Kai, “Yu Kai, you bastard, you owe my sister a life!” After saying that, he carried Yin Ziling and quickly flew away, his figure turning into a stream of light, instantly disappearing.
Before Yu Kai could respond, Wang Meng charged out of the violent air current. “Damn it!” he roared, his eyes wide, burning with anger, raising his axe again to fiercely slash at Yu Kai.
“Psh!” Yu Kai was directly struck on the back, his back mecha instantly exploding, fragments flying, his body becoming a bloody mess. He crashed straight into the metal river below, splashing up huge waves. Then, a surging wave engulfed him in deep water, instantly disappearing without a trace.
Wang Meng stood in the air, giving a fierce look at Yu Kai who had fallen into the golden river, before turning his gaze toward the fleeing Heaven’s Prodigies. He coldly snorted and pursued them, shouting, “Chase! Don’t let them escape! Chase them closely, if you let one go, you’ll all face severe consequences!” His voice was deafening, causing ripples in the surrounding air. Other warships received the order, like sharks smelling blood, quickly chasing after, the warships cutting across the sky, bringing up gusts of gale.
Yu Kai was like a stone falling into the deep sea, plunging into the metal river, instantly submerged by the icy water, his consciousness fading. His body, following the rolling waves, involuntarily surged deeper along the river, like a rootless duckweed, rising and falling in the swift current.
After an unknown amount of time, Yu Kai slowly regained consciousness. He felt immense pain all over, every muscle protesting, but his injuries were mostly healed.
He struggled to open his heavy eyelids, feeling his vision blurry, his head heavy. As his vision gradually cleared, he found himself in a deep, dark river, surrounded by winding, dark waterways. The metal river water shimmered with strange and mysterious light, dreamlike and illusory, yet exuding a chillingly dangerous aura.
Yu Kai steadied himself, trying to clear his muddled thoughts, beginning to consider his perilous situation.
“I must leave here as soon as possible and find Niuniu and the others,” Yu Kai thought to himself, struggling with his injured, weak body, activating the Metal Law with all his might, swimming upward along the current.
However, fate didn’t seem willing to spare him easily. Suddenly, a strong and swift vortex appeared without warning. The vortex was like an invisible giant hand, instantly engulfing him. Under this irresistible force, he felt as small as dust, with no power to resist, only able to descend like a meteor along the dark passage.
After a dizzying spin, “thud!” Yu Kai was heavily slammed to the ground. The impact force made him groan, almost causing him to faint again. He endured the pain throughout his body, quickly looking around, finding he had escaped the perilous metal river.
He was now in a mysterious place, the surrounding walls covered with strange natural patterns. Those patterns seemed to contain the principles of the world, ancient and mysterious. Yu Kai struggled to stand up, carefully examining them.
Not far away, a small pond caught his attention. It emitted a strong, almost substantial Metal Law; the light was brilliant and dazzling, impossible to ignore. Yu Kai endured the pain and quickly walked forward. A shimmering metal light orb hovered above the pond, its surface flowing with colorful light, ancient and mysterious. From time to time, a crystal-clear water droplet would fall, creating ripples in the pond.
An instinctive feeling told Yu Kai that this metal light orb was the Primordial Source of Venus. As long as he successfully left his mark on it, he could control and use the Star Power of Venus. Thinking of this, Yu Kai clenched his fists, his eyes full of anticipation, and secretly resolved to obtain this power and turn the current crisis around.
