For a romance novel, when love begins to transform into familial affection, it signifies a happy ending.
Perhaps writing in detail about their careers and raising children could have padded the story with a few hundred thousand more words, but I felt it was completely unnecessary.
Cat Repairer’s writing style has always been straightforward. When it’s time for a story to end, I end it decisively, without dragging things out.
Adding even one extra chapter would be a lapse in Cat Repairer’s professional integrity.
Reading up to this point, everyone should have sensed that Evil Dragon is a sweet, slightly fantastical, pure love story focused on daily life, without major conflicts or intense battles.
Overall, I’m quite satisfied with it.
This book is also the one I’ve received the least amount of criticism for in all my years of writing… Everyone has been very kind. Aside from complaining about Cat Repairer’s short chapters, there have been almost no other negative comments.
Of course, this is also because Evil Dragon’s plot has no major flaws or particularly controversial points.
The initial intention of this book was to bring everyone a lighthearted and enjoyable story, so there were no attempts to shock or provoke readers until the very end.
