Chapter 209: It’s Really Too Uncomfortable
Gu Yue’s heart skipped a beat as he was watched by Song Chu’s gaze.
His grip on the steering wheel tightened, “Okay.”
Tang Feng and Song Ping, upon hearing their conversation, exchanged knowing smiles, tactfully refraining from asking further questions.
Driving was much faster than riding a bicycle, and they arrived in the village in just over half an hour.
Gu Yue parked the car at the village entrance and returned to the dormitory at the pig farm first.
Song Ping went back to her own home, having bought many things in the county town to bring back.
Song Chu and Tang Feng also went home first, with Song Chu carrying a bag in her hand.
Because they had set off relatively early, each household was just about to go to work.
As the mother and daughter returned, Song Jianjun and the others had just finished breakfast.
