The world has digitized, and humanity struggles against the emergence of dangerous monsters through the power of “Players” and dungeons. Li Feng, once a top student, suffers a crushing defeat, and his life falls apart following his parents’ death. He retreats into the popular mobile game, Hero Legend, where he discovers he has a unique ability: extracting in-game skills into reality. As graduation nears, Li Feng is forced back into the real world, invited to participate in a “Summer Dungeon Hunt” by a group of notorious classmates – the wealthy but weak Yang Wei and Sheng Xu, and the formidable but enigmatic Qin Anran.

He aims to extract powerful skills, level up his in-game character, and dominate the dangerous dungeons, hoping to change his destiny and overcome his past. As he gains strength and rare skills, he clashes with the school’s top prodigy, Lin Ling’er, and her team, while also navigating complicated alliances with his new teammates. He realizes that there is more to his unique talent than he initially thought.
Forced to confront the real-world Gaokao (college entrance exam) which focuses on conquering real dungeons, Li Feng finds himself using the skills he’s gained from Hero Legend and discovering he is a hidden power. His team, comprised of the lowest-ranked students in the grade, unexpectedly excel, despite Li Feng’s seemingly detached nature. As they climb the ranks, their team attracts unwanted attention, including animosity from transfer students from larger cities.
Li Feng has to find a way to balance his real life and his digital one, but soon, the two become dangerously intertwined. The Gaokao itself becomes more challenging, not only pitting him against other students but also an unexpected encounter with a transformed Dungeon Boss that will test the limits of his skills. He faces the choice between grinding for power, making money to secure his future, or focusing on the needs of those who rely on him.
