Ch 287: Six Gods Descend Upon The Battlefield
The moment Asmodeus returned, she immediately notified Zhongli, instructing him to prepare to lead people through the Portal to support Fontaine.
The Qixing’s Military landed and swiftly eliminated the surrounding Demons.
The Qixing’s Military, having cultivated the King Kong Body Forging Scripture, possessed incredibly strong Physical Bodies, rendering the defenses of their Physical Bodies impenetrable to ordinary Demons.
With the addition of the Qixing’s Military, the Demons in half of Fontaine were instantly eradicated.
Xiao and several Celestials exerted all their efforts, slaughtering the Demons in droves.
Melsen did not appear surprised to see Asmodeus.
They had already met once in Liyue Harbor, during which Asmodeus had expelled themself from the body of the Traveler, “Kaedehara Kazuha”. (Note: The glossary does not provide gender for the Traveler. Context suggests “themself” is appropriate in this instance.)
This time, they no longer needed to hide; the sacrificial offerings were sufficient. Melsen produced a Scepter and made a slight gesture.
The deceased Fontaine citizens and Demons all transformed into a plume of black smoke, coalescing on the Scepter.
Immediately after, the Sky shattered like a mirror, and countless Bloodhounds surged in.
Melsen mocked Asmodeus.
“Hahahaha! Asmodeus! This time, I shall achieve victory! In Khaenri’ah, you disrupted our plans!
This time! You won’t even think about it!”
Asmodeus snorted disdainfully.

The Heavenly Fire Holy Judgment in Xingqiu’s hand frantically accumulated Energy. When it reached its critical point, Xingqiu shouted.
“Liuyin! Dodge!”
Liuyin quickly dodged, and Xingqiu unleashed a single Strike.
A Firelight illuminated the sky, followed by a violent explosion.
The previously overcast sky, lightly sprinkled with rain, turned crimson under the Firelight’s reflection; the rain evaporated before it could fall.
As the Firelight gradually dispersed, Melsen looked towards the Cave Entrance in the Sky; an Area outside the Cave Entrance was completely cleared, tens of thousands of Bloodhounds reduced to ashes by that single Strike.
After unleashing a Strike, Xingqiu saw that Bloodhounds remained and immediately began accumulating Energy, preparing for another attack.
Seeing this, Melsen went all out!
Melsen opened dozens of Abyss Portals, countless Demons swarming forth.
“Attack the sky! Bring those two little girls down!”
Melsen confronted Asmodeus directly.

Zhongli, the Greater Lord Rukkhadevata, Nahida, Venti, Raiden Shogun, and Barbatos appeared above the Star-Devouring Whale.
The Greater Lord Rukkhadevata slowly extended a hand.
“Everyone, under Your Excellency Asmodeus’s orders, we must slay this wicked creature!”
Zhongli and the others attacked simultaneously; six gods descended! They unleashed their full power against the Star-Devouring Whale.
“Celestial Movement Myriad Phenomena!”
“Ode to the Anemo Archon!”
“Freeze! Eternity!”
“No thoughts, severance!”
“This is the Hall of Wisdom!”
“This is the Hall of Life!”
The Star-Devouring Whale lasted less than a minute before it was sunk.
Before its death, the Star-Devouring Whale let out a whale cry that echoed across the sky, marking its demise.
Neuvillette was about to express gratitude when Zhongli said.
“Let’s go support Xingqiu and Liuyin, secure the Passage, and leave the Ground Battlefield to the Qixing’s Military.”
Upon hearing this, Neuvillette nodded and flew with Zhongli and the others towards Xingqiu’s location.
Neuvillette, Zhongli, and the Greater Lord Rukkhadevata guarded Xingqiu’s perimeter.
Seeing this, Furcarus and Furina arrived with Lancelot.
Hu Tao, riding the Wind Fire Wheel, continuously wielded her Fire-tipped Spear, constantly eliminating approaching flying Demons.
On the ground.
Ningguang gestured.
“Qixing’s Military! Full-scale advance! Leave no Demon alive! Kill!”
With Ningguang’s order, the Qixing’s Military charged towards the Demons, and Xiao, Cloud Retainer, and other Celestials joined the Battlefield.
Xiao transformed into a fierce wind, kicking through a Primo Geovishap; then, his weapon, the Primordial Jade Winged-Spear, swept out, a fierce wind transforming into a whirlwind to annihilate the surrounding Demons.
Chlorinde, Linni, Linnett, and Leosly, along with their forces, also joined the Battlefield.
Chlorinde and the others channeled all their energy, venting the anger of having been suppressed.
Chlorinde, without noticing, was ambushed from behind by a Primo Geovishap.
The next second, several Ice Arrows flew in, killing the Primo Geovishap.
Chlorinde looked in the direction from which the Ice Arrows came, seeing a girl with ram horns holding a Longbow.
Chlorinde approached Ganyu.
“Thank you.”
Ganyu smiled slightly.
“You’re welcome, stay safe.”
After speaking, Ganyu once again nocked an arrow.
March 7th stood on a rooftop, Bubublossom guarding beside them.
Any Demon attempting to approach was bound by Bubublossom’s Vines and drained into a corpse.
March 7th’s Houyi Bow had an incredibly fast firing rate. The Houyi Bow possessed an auto-aim function, and March 7th, seeing so many Demons, fired randomly.
Without aiming, they merely drew and released, drew and released again; their hand speed was so fast they were a blur.
On the entire Ground Battlefield, the Demon side was instantly overwhelmed. Even the usually invincible Primo Geovishaps could only survive a few seconds.

Melsen said angrily.
“Don’t you know that every minute you delay, more humans will die?”
Asmodeus glanced at the Battles in the Sky and on the Ground.
In the Sky, with Raiden Shogun, Liuyin, Hu Tao, and Neuvillette and Lancelot, the Bloodhound army could not breach their Defense Line.
As for the ground, the Qixing’s Military’s methods were simply brutal.
Asmodeus personally witnessed a Qixing’s Military Squad Leader engage in a Melee Combat, shirtless, with a Geovishap.
The Geovishap was beaten to a pulp with bare fists.
Would the Qixing’s Military, with their maximum defense, suffer damage? Are you kidding me?
