Ch 155: You Scumbag! You Sold Me Out!
Returning home, Nia pulled Grey into the Secret Chamber to do Alchemy. The two people tinkered in the Secret Chamber for a long time, not even coming down for lunch.
“Master, Grey and Nia went into the Secret Chamber after returning and haven’t come out, and they haven’t eaten. What happened to them?”
Xiaoyue asked Bal worriedly. Bal scratched his head; he didn’t know what those two were tinkering with.
“I’ll go take a look after I finish eating. Did you leave their lunch?”
“Yes.”
“That’s good.”
After saying that, Bal continued eating. Phia listened to their conversation. She froze for a moment, then laughed.
“What are you laughing at?”
“Nothing, just eat your meal.”
After lunch, Bal carried two people’s lunch to the Study. He planned to see what those two were doing without eating at noon.
When Bal opened the Gate to the Secret Chamber, a cloud of smoke drifted out, mixed with the smell of medicine.
“Cough, cough, what’s going on?”
Bal wanted to go in, but the smoke was too thick. Bal was choked and couldn’t go in, so he had to ask Phia for help.
“What’s up?”
Phia was lying in bed reading a book at this time. She seemed to have anticipated that Bal would come to find her, and she started asking him as soon as he opened the door.
“Those two don’t know what they’ve concocted in the Secret Chamber. There’s a lot of smoke now, it’s especially choking. Come and help me ventilate the Secret Chamber. I’ll have to add a vent to the Secret Chamber someday.”
Phia closed her book. She extended her hand in the air, signaling for Bal to support her. Bal saw this jade hand and without saying a word, stepped forward to help Phia up. After he lifted Phia, he softly said to her.
“Little Juice Maker’s desires are very strong recently.”
“Isn’t it because the farming ox’s technique is too good?”
Hearing Phia’s extremely seductive voice, Bal kissed her, then carried her to the Study.
As soon as Bal put Phia down, Phia snapped her fingers. A gust of wind blew into the Secret Chamber, then carried out more smoke. The ventilation continued for more than ten minutes before the smoke in the Secret Chamber finally dissipated.
“I’ll go take a look.”
Bal patted Phia’s head, then walked into the Secret Chamber.
“Nia, Grey, what are you two doing? Not even eating.”
Bal came to the Secret Chamber. He saw Nia and Grey still sitting on chairs by the alchemy table, not turning around no matter how he called. So Bal reached out and touched Grey beside him. Grey fell down with a smile on his face.
“Whoa, Grey, Grey!”
Bal shook Grey, who was lying on the ground, shouting Grey’s name, trying to wake him up. But he looked very peaceful; in reality, he had been gone for a while. Seeing that Grey didn’t move, Bal glanced interestingly at Nia. Nia was also closing her eyes with a peaceful expression, so Bal quickly ran out of the Secret Chamber to find Phia.
“Phia, it’s not good, they’re both unresponsive!”
Phia was leisurely drinking tea. Seeing Bal running out in a hurry, she put down her Cup.
“Don’t worry, it’s nothing. They just fainted.”
After speaking, Phia got up and took Bal into the Secret Chamber. She used Magic to heal the two people, then used a refreshing spell to wake them up.
“Nia, Grey, are you alright?”
“I just heard Madam Sachi from the Orphanage calling me.”
Nia woke up rubbing her head. After Bal checked the two of them, he finally felt relieved.
“You shouldn’t be listening to that. Madam Sachi has been gone for over a decade. You shouldn’t see her.”
Grey also stood up at this time, patting the dust off himself.
“Why do I feel a little sore?”
“That’s not important, are you alright?”
Bal supported Grey’s shoulders. Grey shook his head; he just felt a little sore, because Bal accidentally pushed Grey down.
“I’m fine, what time is it now?”
“It’s a little past one, lunch is over.”
Hearing Bal’s words, Grey scratched his head. After being chased by the strange Creature Bal disguised as in the morning, and then fainting for a while, he was extremely hungry.
Bal directly took the two people to the Study, where he put the two lunches he had brought upstairs.
As soon as Grey and Nia saw the lunch, their hungry stomachs rumbled. The two didn’t feel embarrassed and sat directly on the Sofa to eat.
After the two finished eating, Bal was already sitting on a Chair at the desk with Phia in his arms.
“So what did you two do? So much smoke, and people fainted.”
“I don’t know, I just watched Nia operate.”
Bal knew it was useless to ask Grey, so he looked at Nia. Nia blushed, fidgeted for a while, and then began to speak.
“I planned to use Purple Spirit Herb and Stone Lingzhi to make some Energy Potions, but it seems like it failed.”
“Tell me more about the Energy Potion part!”
Sitting on Bal’s lap, Phia excitedly got up and came to Nia’s side upon hearing Energy Potion.
“I have a feeling something bad happened. How about you?”
“First time?”
Grey had been pulled by Nia to try the medicine many times. He was a battle-hardened person, but Bal had never been tested. Usually, if he had a small wound, it would heal before he could even treat it. If he had any serious injuries, in the past he would directly go to a Doctor or Healer; if the conditions were poor, he would simply treat himself, so he actually had many scars on his body. Now it’s different; he has Phia, this little Demon King would directly cast Healing Magic on him the moment he was injured. So Bal had never been tested with the medicine. When Nia made medicine in the past, she would run away directly; Nia couldn’t catch up, so she had to use other classmates as guinea pigs.
Now that Bal saw Phia was so interested in the Energy Potion, he felt that his future might not be very good. But Phia seemed to be able to read minds; she turned her head and gave Bal a sweet smile.
“Husband~ Would I harm you? What good would it do me to harm you?”
“Phia, don’t do this, I’m scared!”
Phia heard Bal’s slightly trembling voice. She slowly got up, returned to Bal’s side, used both hands to hold Bal’s head so that Bal looked at her, and continued.
“We share the same life now. I wouldn’t be so foolish as to harm myself, but…”
Phia licked her lips, leaned close to Bal’s ear, and whispered.
“I seem to have my period recently, you have to help me solve it properly, my~ dear~ Hus~band~”
After hearing Phia’s words, Bal’s face turned pale, and cold sweat broke out on his back and forehead. He had heard that Cat Demon Tribe members would become extremely lustful during a certain period, and there had even been instances of male Cat Demon Tribe members dying under their partners.
Nia saw that Phia seemed very interested in her unfinished Career. She beckoned to Phia. Phia gave Bal a wink and went to Nia’s side. Nia whispered something to Phia, and Phia nodded repeatedly. Now Grey was also scared. Having just one Nia was already enough to bother him. Now that there’s another Phia assisting Nia, whether Bal can survive is unclear, but he himself will definitely die here.
Grey thought for a moment. He decisively remembered the four-character mantra that an elder from the Empire once told him: “Collapse, Withdraw, Sell, and Run!” Grey decisively ran out of the Study. Seeing Grey bursting out of the Gate, Bal shouted towards the direction Grey left.
“You scumbag! You tricked me!”
Why didn’t Bal run? Because before Grey ran, he made eye contact with Phia. Phia’s threatening gaze prevented Grey from taking his good Brother Bal with him. He could only run while silently mourning for Bal in his heart. Moreover, Phia had already used no-delay, short-distance, instant teleportation to come to Bal’s side. Her hands were already around Bal’s neck.
“My Husband is still good to me. Come, let’s go into the room.”
Phia used Magic Silk Thread to bind Bal, and Nia and Phia together dragged Bal into the Secret Chamber.
