Ch 175: There’s Always Good Food On A Trip

We’ve been on the boat for three days now.

“I… I can’t… I’m sorry… Nia…”

Grey lay on the bed, gasping for breath. His face was pale, his limbs weak, and his voice trembled as he spoke.

“Grey, don’t leave me!”

Nia cried out from Grey’s bedside, occasionally patting the bed.

“After… after I’m gone… please don’t grieve for me…”

“No, no! We promised to get married!”

Nia held Grey’s hand; her bangs covered her eyes, hiding her expression.

Bal came over, his expression sorrowful and guilty.

“I’m sorry, Grey, I’m sorry.”

“Don’t blame yourself. I’m lucky to have a brother like you.”

The atmosphere in the room was extremely heavy and sad. Nemo, leaning against the door, asked Phia.

“Is Grey alright? Don’t let him die on my boat; it’s bad luck.”

“He’s fine; they’re just full.”

Phia waved her hand, then walked to the three of them. First, she tugged Bal’s ear.

“What are you doing here? You scared the captain half to death! Don’t be a fool. Instead of acting, go play with Philia.”

“Heh heh～”

“Heh heh what? Get going, get going.”

After Phia pinched Bal’s waist, he went out with a grin. After sending Bal away, Phia went to Grey’s side.

“It’s just seasickness! Look at you.”

Phia placed her hand on Grey’s forehead. A flash of purple light, and Grey’s complexion improved considerably.

After scolding the trio, Phia went to the deck to feel the sea breeze.

Phia wanted to enjoy the peace, but the pirates locked on the deck ruined the mood. Phia walked to the pirates, magic gathering in her hand.

The pirates saw the lightning crackling in Phia’s hand. The originally arrogant pirates became honest. Finding no amusement, Phia returned to the cabin to play with Philia.

“Philia, let Mommy hug you.”

Philia ran to Phia, and Phia picked up Philia.

“Mmm, fishing, fishing!”

Bal took out his Fishing Tackle Bag, left the room and went to the deck. The pirates were subdued upon seeing Bal; after all, in the pirates’ eyes, this madman would destroy their ship without clothes, holding only a Short Sword. They couldn’t afford to provoke him.

Bal put down the Fishing Tackle Bag, baited the hook with Bait Worms, and cast his line.

An hour later, Philia had been lulled to sleep by Phia. Just as Phia was about to quietly leave, a cheer from the deck startled her. Phia looked back at Philia; thankfully, Philia was still asleep.

“What are you doing?! Making so much noise! My daughter just fell asleep. What if you wake her up?”

Veins bulged on Phia’s forehead. She went to the deck and threatened the noisy pirates, but the pirates seemed completely oblivious, cheering wildly towards the bow.

“Ohhhhh! It’s on, it’s on!”

“Pull it in, pull it in!”

“Reel it in!”

Phia looked at the bow. Bal was standing on the bow struggling with a fish, and the pirates seemed to be cheering Bal on.

“Heave ho, come up!”

With a heave, Bal pulled a three-meter-long tuna out of the sea. The tuna arced through the air, landing on top of Bal.

“Oof! Help… help!”

The tuna’s tail was right in Bal’s face. As it struggled, its tail began to slap Bal’s face.

Phia was dumbfounded. She had never seen anything like this before and didn’t react immediately.

“Help… help!”

Only when Bal cried out again did Phia remember to save him.

Phia used magic to lift the tuna and place it in an empty spot on the deck. After healing Bal with Healing Magic, Phia pulled Bal up.

“I don’t know if you’re lucky or unlucky. Let’s just say you’re pretty sturdy. If it were an ordinary person, after being slapped a couple of times by that fish, they’d probably go meet their great-grandmother.”

“Waaaah, my Wife cares about me, my Wife is good. That stinky fish hit me, the fish is bad.”

Bal took out his Short Sword and approached the tuna. After bleeding the fish, he began to process the fish.

After a while, Bal carried the processed tuna to the Kitchen.

“Extra food, extra food!”

The Kitchen staff had never seen such a large tuna before. They frantically placed the fish on the table.

“Shopkeeper, how do we cook this fish?”

“I don’t know, haven’t you eaten it before?”

“It’s not that we haven’t eaten it before, it’s just that we’ve never encountered such a big one. We don’t know what to do.”

While Bal was brainstorming with the kitchen staff, Nemo came into the kitchen to get a drink.

“Amazing, amazing. Chef, give me the knife. Today I’ll personally cook sashimi for everyone! Oh, and prepare the wasabi and soy sauce.”

The chef brought Nemo a straight, slender steel knife. After receiving the knife, Nemo began to cut the fish.

“Shopkeeper, go rest for a while; I’ll call you when I’m done.”

Bal left the Kitchen and went to the helm.

“How much longer until we arrive?”

“Soon, Shopkeeper. We’ll arrive by tomorrow morning at the latest.”

“Alright.”

After Nemo finished cutting the fish, he had someone call Bal’s family to the Restaurant to enjoy the sashimi.

“Come and try it.”

Nemo spread his hands, displaying the cut sashimi to everyone.

Philia picked up a piece of sashimi, dipped it in soy sauce with wasabi, and put it in her mouth.

“It’s spicy, but it’s delicious!”

“That’s good. Everyone, please eat. I’m going to steer.”

The next morning, Bal went to the deck. Mountains and trees appeared on the horizon in the distance.

“Wow, we’re almost there!”

Bal immediately rushed back to the cabin to wake everyone up.

Half an hour later, the boat docked.

“Shopkeeper, we’ll pick you up here in seven days. Don’t forget the Time.”

“Humph, I know you won’t leave me behind, Nemo.”

“Oops, the Shopkeeper found out. I’ll go then. Did you guys leave anything on the boat?”

After checking, everyone said they hadn’t left anything behind. Nemo gave the order, and the boat sailed away.
