Ch 273: Surprisingly Serene, The Greedy Man’s Final Moments

Bal, with Nia and Remilia, quickly arrived near the Great Temple. Remilia stood on the rooftop, looking down. Many Guards had already assembled near the Great Temple. Due to the Guards’ curfew, no one besides the Guards remained nearby.

“How do we get in?”

“Simple, Nia.”

Bal patted Nia’s shoulder. Nia immediately used magic to create a Light Bullet. Nia threw the Light Bullet to another Place. The Guards left several to guard the Entrance, while the rest went to investigate the noise Nia created.

“Knock these few unconscious, change into their Clothes, and enter the Great Temple. Remember to gag them and hide them well.”

“No problem!”

Nia jumped down first. She rushed to the Guards guarding the Entrance and began to Attack them.

“Nia truly is your Sister.”

Although Remilia had witnessed Bal and Phia’s Violent Break-Ins, she had never seen anything like Nia’s Action.

“Hilarious, she’s much braver than I am.”

Bal also jumped down. He quietly approached from behind a Guard. Taking advantage of his unnoticed presence, he knocked a Guard unconscious with a Hand Knife. Then, he grabbed the unconscious Guard’s feet and threw him toward Nia.

“Catch!”

Hearing Bal’s voice, Nia turned her head. She saw a person thrown by Bal. After dodging the person, Nia shouted to Bal.

“Almost hit me!”

“Sorry, sorry.”

Bal walked to Nia’s side. The Guard he threw successfully knocked down the other Guards fighting with Nia.

“Quickly clean up, Remilia, lend a hand.”

“Coming!”

Remilia ran to Bal’s side. Bal pointed to the unconscious Guards on the ground and said to Remilia.

“Pick one similar to your size, put on their Helmet, and wait for the group that just left to return before we enter. Remember, don’t speak, lest we be exposed.”

The three took the Guards into a nearby Alley. They stripped the Guards of their Equipment and put them on, then stuffed the Guards into Wooden Barrels. Before leaving, Nia thoughtfully cast Sleep Magic on them.

“Did you find anything?”

Bal saluted the leader before asking.

“Nothing, we searched everywhere but found nothing.”

“Alright, they’re not feeling well, I’ll take them to rest.”

Bal pulled Nia and Remilia along. Upon hearing this, the two immediately clutched their stomachs.

“Me?”

“She’s a bitch, the kind that goes for anyone.”

Remilia volunteered, Bal and Nia didn’t mind. She looked around, then jumped down. Nia and Bal followed closely behind.

Bal and Nia escorted Remilia outside the City. After sending Remilia off, Bal and Nia returned to the City. They planned to find Grey and Phia.
