Ch 323: Sometimes, It’s Best Not To Speak Too Soon, Or You’ll Get Slapped In The Face

Bal raised his Black Sword, using it to block the Three-Headed Dog’s claw attack.

“Nia!”

“Received!”

Nia, running across the Place, dashed to the Three-Headed Dog’s side, intending to perform a Great Sword Back Opening. However, three heads still provided excellent vision. The Three-Headed Dog, using its side head, sensed Nia’s intentions. It leaped backward as Nia prepared to attack, successfully dodging her attack.

“Pretty agile, huh.”

Nia returned to Bal’s side; the Two People stood shoulder to shoulder, maintaining a battle stance against the Three-Headed Dog.

“Hey, I have an idea!”

Nia suddenly had a flash of inspiration. Bal wasn’t sure what Nia was thinking; he could only respond.

“Tell me what to do.”

“Don’t dogs really like to fetch thrown twigs or balls? Why don’t you try throwing some?”

“…Are you not awake, or am I not awake? What you said is nonsensical. If this thing were that easy to deal with, I’d perform a handstand and wash my hair!”

“That’s what you said; don’t go back on your word, oh.”

Before Bal could respond, Nia released her Greatsword. She picked up a smaller Separate Sword, holding it and waving it in her hand.

“Hey! Big doggy! Look at this!”

Nia successfully attracted the Three-Headed Dog’s attention. Seeing the Three-Headed Dog staring at her, Nia immediately threw the Separate Sword in her hand towards the wall behind and to the side of the Three-Headed Dog.

“I knew it would…”

Bal had just begun to speak when he saw the Three-Headed Dog staring at the flying Separate Sword, then wagging its Tail to chase the Separate Sword thrown by Nia.

“Knew what?”

Nia looked at Bal, forgetting her composure. Bal’s face turned purple and then pale, and after a few seconds, he said.

“…Hurry and chase.”

Bal ran off. Nia used Magic to levitate the remaining Separate Swords behind her. She grabbed the main sword and followed Bal.

“Handstand and wash your hair, oh. Remember to perform it for me. I’ll go and give that stinky dog a back opening; you cover me.”

After saying this, Nia accelerated, surpassing Bal. Bal was truly numb now, but luckily, there was still a Three-Headed Dog to vent his anger on, so he immediately threw several Throwing Knives. The Throwing Knives exploded violently upon piercing the Three-Headed Dog’s body. Nia seized the opportunity to leap up and cut off the Three-Headed Dog’s right head with the main sword. The Three-Headed Dog, in pain, began to thrash wildly. Nia was about to pursue when she was thrown off balance by the Three-Headed Dog’s shaking.

“Didn’t you say you were going to open its back?”

Bal used his sword to block the Three-Headed Dog’s claw attack aimed at Nia, pushed it away, and pulled Nia up.

“Tell me, what do we do now?”

“Easy, just do it again.”

“Just try it.”

Nia grabbed another, slightly larger Separate Sword and repeated the trick, throwing it again. As Nia expected, the Three-Headed Dog ran towards the Separate Sword again.

“Handstand and wash your hair and handstand and eat, don’t forget.”

Bal was dumbfounded; he stood there, stunned.

“No, sister, this dog thing is really a pig; it really doesn’t learn its lesson.”

“Stop standing there; come and lend a hand!”

Hearing Nia’s call, Bal followed, sword in hand.

“Hah!”

Nia shouted. This time, she cut accurately; however, she miscalculated one thing—this dog’s flesh was incredibly tough. Nia’s main sword got stuck in the Three-Headed Dog’s back. As she prepared to exert force, the Three-Headed Dog, feeling the pain in its back, began shaking its body, and Nia was thrown off.

“Missed again?”

Bal leaped up and caught Nia, who had been thrown into the air. Now it was his turn to be smug.

“Shut up!”

“You wouldn’t want everyone to know you missed twice in a row, would you?”

“I think your handstand hair washing and handstand eating would be more interesting to watch.”

“Hey! Why are you so stubborn, little girl?”

“That’s right, too much oil and salt is bad for your health.”

The Two People were arguing fiercely when a dog’s bark interrupted their conversation.

Bal held his Long Sword, and with his left hand, he wiped it. The originally pitch-black blade turned a dark Purple.

Bal pointed at the Three-Headed Dog. The Three-Headed Dog felt insulted, so it charged toward Bal.

“Eat shit!”

Bal also charged at the Three-Headed Dog. The man and the dog continuously approached each other. The clash occurred in an instant. Man and dog stopped behind each other after colliding. A few seconds later, the Three-Headed Dog split in half from the middle. Bal stylishly wiped away the Bloodstain on his sword and put his face back into the Scabbard.

“Wow, did you have to be so cool?”

Nia pulled out her main sword from the Three-Headed Dog’s corpse. After assembling the sword, she walked over to Bal.

“Bal?”

Seeing Bal didn’t react, Nia patted Bal on the shoulder.

“Wow, this dog thing is really stinky!”

Bal suddenly pinched his nose and spoke. Nia was startled by Bal.

“Whether this dog is smelly or not is another matter; you’re really a smelly person!”

Nia patted Bal’s back hard. Bal looked around, confirmed there were no other enemies, and returned with Nia.

“It’s been so long; have you found it yet?”

Phia paced anxiously at the Cave Entrance, waiting for Bal and Nia. Although she was the one who threw the Two People down, she thought they wouldn’t get into trouble. Now, after waiting for a while without any news, she couldn’t sit still.

“No, I have to go down and see.”

Phia was about to jump down when Grey stopped her.

“What are you doing?”

“Bal and Nia haven’t come up for so long; I’m a little worried.”

“Don’t worry; their strength is good enough to not even damage this tower. Just wait patiently.”

As soon as Grey finished speaking, a familiar voice came from the Cave Entrance.

“I was joking back then; you can’t take it seriously!”

“Who cares about you? A man’s word is his bond; are you still trying to deny it now?”

Bal and Nia came out of the Cave Entrance, arguing noisily. Seeing that the Two People still had the mood to act silly, Phia was relieved.

“Okay, stop arguing. How was it down there? Whoa, it’s so stinky!”

Grey had just walked up to Bal when he was overwhelmed by a foul odor.

“There was indeed a dog; I killed it. It’s a little smelly down there; remember to clean it up later.”

Bal and Nia didn’t seem to notice anything; Phia initially wondered why Grey reacted so strongly until she got close to Bal.

“So stinky! Stay away from me; don’t get near me or Philia!”

Phia pinched her nose and took a few steps back.

“What?! No!!!!!!!!!”

Seeing Philia look at him with such a disgusted expression for the first time, Bal knelt on the ground; luckily, Xiaoyue was there.

“Master, please wash up and change your clothes quickly.”

Xiaoyue handed Bal the Towel she carried with her. Bal raised his head, and tears glistened in his eyes.

“Wuwuwu, Xiaoyue is still the kindest to me.”

Bal took the Towel and was about to hug Xiaoyue, but Xiaoyue stepped back after handing over the Towel.

“Master, please don’t come near me now.”

“Wow! I’ve never been so wronged in my life.”

Bal wiped away a tear. He walked dejectedly toward a Place where boxes were piled up; he was going to use a bath to alleviate his wronged feelings.

“Hilarious.”

Nia was still gloating when Phia said to Nia.

“What are you laughing about? You go take a bath too!”

“Wuwuwu, I’ll go right away.”
