Ch 448: Body Swap With Your Wife? Now You Understand Her Clothing Struggles
It was almost dinner time when Yselle finally returned with Hamlet.
“I’m back.”
After taking off her shoes and changing into slippers at the entrance, Yselle sat down in the living room with Hamlet to rest.
Bal was waiting for Hamlet in the living room. As soon as he saw Hamlet, he went straight to Yselle.
“I need to talk to this guy.”
“Ah? Oh.”
Yselle immediately lifted Hamlet in front of Bal. Hamlet started trembling upon seeing Bal; it must have realized that Bal had stepped on the ice it had carelessly spat out. Bal took Hamlet to the backyard; only Hamlet and Bal were in the backyard.
“I’m asking you something. Did you make that ice by the stairs? If so, nod. Don’t lie, or you won’t get dinner tonight.”
Hamlet, pressured by the threat of no dinner, admitted it by nodding.
“Well, you need to know something. Spatting ice is similar to spitting, both are uncivilized behaviors. But your situation is worse, you know? It’s fortunate that I was the one who stepped on it; otherwise, if someone else had stepped on it, they might have been injured. Do you want Philia or Nia to get hurt because of this ice?”
Bal stared into Hamlet’s eyes. Although Hamlet liked to play pranks on Bal, it was still a child and needed guidance. The thought that its actions might hurt its favorite Nia or Philia made Hamlet a little scared.
“You seem to understand now. Good. Don’t do this again, okay?”
Hamlet nodded, then flew to stand on the piano key cover in the gazebo, bowing like a human to apologize to Bal.
“Wow, this is the first time I’ve seen you do this. Okay, no next time.”
Bal picked up Hamlet and carried him back to the living room. Nia saw Bal holding Hamlet and looked puzzled.
“Older Brother, when did you become so close to this guy?”
“Just now.”
Bal placed Hamlet beside Nia and went into the kitchen to help Xiaoyue cook. Nia glanced at Hamlet, then at Phia, who was calmly drinking tea.
“Sister-in-law, what happened?”
“This afternoon, when Bal and I were about to go out, we slipped on a patch of ice.”
“Oh, so that’s how it is. Nia turned Hamlet around so that Hamlet was facing her.”
“Don’t do this next time, okay?”
Hamlet nodded vigorously; it looked quite cute, so Nia hugged Hamlet.
“So obedient.”

The next day, Bal and Phia woke up from bed. They planned to find Norman to conduct a safety assessment of the school building. After all, sudden collapses could affect the foundation of the school building. It wouldn’t be good if the building collapsed mid-class.
Bal sat up; he felt something strange, his vision was a little low.
“Hmm? What the heck!”
Bal lowered his head curiously; he found a pair of large, white breasts on his chest. He rubbed his eyes, and after confirming it several times, he began to weigh them with his hands.
“So heavy. Wait, why am I weighing them?”
Bal quickly turned to push Phia, but as soon as he turned his head, he saw a very familiar handsome face – the face he saw every morning when he washed his face.
“What the heck!”
“Hmm… What’s the meow…?”
The person with his handsome face turned around and covered his head with the blanket, and combined with the “meow” at the end of his sentence…
“Phia?”
“…Hmm? Don’t make a fuss.”
“Don’t sleep yet, something’s wrong.”
“What is it…?”
Phia sat up impatiently. When she saw the person in front of her had white fur and cat ears, she was also shocked.
“You… who are you? I don’t remember having any sisters.”
“Is there a possibility that the body in front of you is your body, but the soul inside is your husband, my soul, Bal’s soul?”
“Huh? Then I…”
Phia, using Bal’s body, tried to use magic to create a water mirror to see her appearance, but she couldn’t use Bal’s body to cast unchanted magic.
“…Get up!”
The two immediately got out of bed; thankfully, they slept peacefully last night, and their pajamas were still on. Bal and Phia instinctively went to find their original clothes, and only after opening the wardrobe did they remember that they had to wear each other’s clothes.
“Ah, so annoying!”
After switching places, they started choosing clothes again. Phia, using Bal’s body, found it convenient; she simply took out Bal’s shirt and pants and put them on, only complaining about Bal’s underwear while taking off her pajamas.
“Such rustic underwear.”
Bal had trouble. Although he had experience dressing Phia before, this was his first time doing it himself. After putting on Phia’s stockings, he felt terrible, let alone wearing other clothes. For Bal, he could endure being stabbed and beaten without making a sound, but making him wear women’s clothing was worse than killing him. But now he was using Phia’s body, which made it difficult.
“…Help me.”
Bal made a pitiful expression with Phia’s face, and the trembling, slight sob surprised Phia.
“Don’t use my body to do this!”
“But I don’t want to wear women’s clothing myself! After all, I am a man inside!”
Phia sighed; she hugged Bal and dressed him. Bal’s face turned red; he was constantly praying for this farce to end quickly.
After changing their clothes, Phia pulled Bal to the study; she didn’t care whether Bal would see the divine script magic books Sphia gave her, and directly started searching for the corresponding magic.
Just then, Xiaoyue came in.
“Master, Madam, dinner is ready.”
Bal and Phia turned around; they casually responded to Xiaoyue before stopping their search.
“What do we do now?”
Bal looked up at Phia. How novel; looking up, he saw Phia using his body, while he was using Phia’s body.
“In our current situation, we must have swapped souls, but I can’t use your body to cast the recovery magic.”
“Is it because of insufficient magic?”
“It’s because your mind doesn’t have the corresponding magic record; I have to teach you how to use the recovery magic to restore us.”
“…Then teach me quickly!”
“There’s some good news and some bad news.”
“Good news.”
“I remember that this soul-swapping magic only lasts for a short time; it won’t exceed a day at most.”
“And the bad news?”
“I can’t find that magic book; we have to wait.”
Silence, deafening silence, then Bal reached out.
“Give me my two swords.”
“What for?”
“Afraid we might need to go out today.”
“Then give me my spear.”
“How do I give it to you?”
Phia slapped her forehead. She remembered that her spear was in the extradimensional space. She had to rely on her memory to teach Bal, using her body, how to open the extradimensional space to get things.
It has to be said that Bal was a top student; he learned quickly, although he was using Phia’s body, which didn’t really require learning. Soon, he took Phia’s spear from the extradimensional space. After exchanging weapons, they went downstairs. Little did they know, today’s nightmare was just beginning.
