The Mystical Biological Mother Returns, the Villainous Sons Stand Up Straight – Chapter 1

Ch 1: I Am Your Mother

Ch 1: I Am Your Mother

“Who are you? How did you get in here?”

A man and a woman’s voices rang out simultaneously, filled with shock and defensiveness.

Gu Qingyin, standing on the stairs, was amused by their anger. She carefully looked at the people downstairs. They were wearing black suits, their faces were cold but couldn’t hide their handsomeness. Their features were somewhat similar to her man, especially the beauty mark under the corner of their right eye, which was exactly the same.

She frowned and asked, “Are you from the Huo family? What are you doing here so early in the morning? Huo Yunjing isn’t home.”

The man downstairs looked at the gorgeous woman above, who wore her home clothes like a fashionable item. His voice was deep, “Knowing this is the Huo family, you still dare to break in. Who gave you the guts?”

“What guts do I need to come back to my own home?” Gu Qingyin looked impatient. “If you don’t leave, don’t blame me for being impolite.”

The man sneered, took out his phone, and dialed a number. He only said two words, “Come in.”

A few seconds later, a group of tall men in black suits walked in, and the huge living room suddenly became crowded.

The man looked at Gu Qingyin and said without a doubt, “This woman is trespassing. Take her to the police station. The police comrades should be able to help her find her own home.”

Gu Qingyin became suspicious and raised her voice, “Steward Li!”

No one responded.

The man’s eyes narrowed slightly. She even knew the old steward’s last name. Who exactly was behind this woman?

The bodyguards quickly approached. Gu Qingyin kicked one of them down the stairs, feeling a little dazed. What was going on? Where were the Huo family’s bodyguards? Why were they letting these outsiders break in?

Seeing her extraordinary skills, the bodyguards knew they couldn’t take her down from the stairs, so they wanted to take the elevator up and surround her from the front and back.

Seeing this, Gu Qingyin’s expression changed drastically. She turned around and ran upstairs, shouting sternly, “Stop! You’re not allowed to come upstairs!”

The man narrowed his eyes and strode upstairs. He wanted to see what shameful things were upstairs.

No matter how powerful Gu Qingyin was, she was only one person. She couldn’t attend to everything, so the bodyguards still managed to bring the man upstairs. She now wished she could sweep away the dark crowd in front of her with a talisman, but the Mystical Arts Association had rules that prohibited attacking ordinary people.

Gu Qingyin stood at the door of the nursery, her face ashen and her eyes like arrows. “What exactly do you want?”

The man stared at the door behind her and asked, “What’s in the room?”

Gu Qingyin clenched her fists, trying her best to restrain her desire to attack. “I’ll ask one last time, who exactly are you? What are you doing at the Huo family?”

The man’s gaze shifted and landed on her face. After two seconds, he parted his thin lips slightly, “I am Huo Xingye, the current head of the Huo family.”

Gu Qingyin was suddenly stunned. The anger on her face hadn’t dissipated yet, and a layer of astonishment covered it. Her eyes were wide and her mouth was open, looking a little silly.

“How do you have the same name as my son?”

“Your son?” Huo Xingye frowned, his tone doubtful.

Gu Qingyin looked him up and down, and nodded. “My son is also Huo Yunjing’s son.” At this point, Gu Qingyin was even more confused. “Wait, you said you’re the head of the Huo family, then where’s Huo Yunjing? Did you usurp his position?”

That shouldn’t be. She had only left for half a month. Even if someone usurped the throne, Huo Yunjing shouldn’t have been defeated so quickly. Although this man was shameless and extremely arrogant, he was still quite capable.

Huo Xingye looked strange. “So, Huo Yunjing is your husband?”

Gu Qingyin hesitated before nodding. “I guess so.” Although they hadn’t gotten their marriage certificate yet, they had done everything they should have, and she had even produced three lives.

Huo Xingye couldn’t help it anymore. He said through gritted teeth with a dark face, “Then how could you not know that Huo Yunjing has been dead for ten years?”

Gu Qingyin gasped, her eyes full of disbelief. “How is that possible!” She lowered her head and raised her hand to start calculating, and the more she calculated, the worse her expression became.

She had followed the strange beast into a different dimension. It was only two days, but twenty years had passed outside! Twenty years! How many twenty years does one have in a lifetime? In these twenty years, Huo Yunjing had died, and her six-month-old babies had grown into adults.

Gu Qingyin’s breathing was rapid, unable to accept this fact. She suddenly turned around and pushed open the door to the nursery.

When she found out she was pregnant, she had hesitated for a long time before deciding to move to the Huo family to have her baby. Every item in the nursery, from the crib to the bib, was carefully selected by her, but after only one glance, her expression changed.

The nursery was empty. Not only was there no one, but not even a single item that babies usually used was left behind.

Gu Qingyin pursed her red lips, and the air pressure around her was extremely low.

“Can’t keep acting?” Huo Xingye’s icy voice rang out, “Tell me, who sent you here?”

Gu Qingyin turned around, her expression complex. “I’m not acting. I really live here. I am Gu Qingyin.” She looked directly at Huo Xingye with a frank gaze, and said, word by word, “I am your mother.”

The head of the Huo family was also called Huo Xingye, so he could only be the son she had with Huo Yunjing.

The next second, Huo Xingye sneered, “I am your father.”

Gu Qingyin’s forehead twitched. She endured it again and again, but couldn’t hold back any longer. She rolled up her sleeves and rushed up, “You brat! You’re rebelling!” She grabbed Huo Xingye’s collar, dragged him into the room, and closed the door, casting a restriction.

The bodyguards outside swarmed forward, but couldn’t open the door no matter what they did.

Inside the door, Gu Qingyin sneered and cracked her knuckles, raising her hand to punch him.

Huo Xingye naturally wouldn’t stand there and wait to be beaten. He had been cultivated as the Huo family’s heir since he was a child, so his skills were naturally not weak, but unfortunately, he was far inferior to Gu Qingyin. They were not in the same league at all.

This one-sided beating lasted for a full five minutes.

By the time Gu Qingyin stopped, Huo Xingye was unrecognizable.

Gu Qingyin sat down on the sofa next to the crib and raised her chin. “Can we talk nicely now?”

Huo Xingye didn’t say a word. In the past five minutes, he had fought back, been shocked, and been angry. Now he was completely calm.

“I really am your mother.” As soon as Gu Qingyin opened her mouth, Huo Xingye’s expression stiffened again, his eyes filled with suppressed anger.

Gu Qingyin waved her hand, looking helpless. “I don’t mean to take advantage of you. Just listen to me finish.”

Huo Xingye waited quietly for a long time, but Gu Qingyin didn’t say anything else. He endured the pain and urged, “Are you going to talk or not?”

“What’s the rush? I have to think about where to start!” Gu Qingyin frowned slightly. “Did Huo Yunjing ever tell you what I do?”

Huo Xingye shook his head.

Gu Qingyin clicked her tongue. “I am a Taoist Master, the kind of Taoist Master who catches ghosts and subdues demons, you know?”

Huo Xingye looked at her with a deep gaze, not saying a word.

Gu Qingyin rolled her eyes and continued, “Back then, Huo Yunjing and I had a marriage of convenience. Although we had marital relations, there was no love between us. It was mainly for curing his illness. But, people can’t control themselves at certain times, and then I got pregnant.”

“Because I had to take care of my pregnancy, I didn’t go out to take jobs for more than a year. Huo Yunjing was also very attentive to me every day, and I developed some good feelings for him.” Gu Qingyin pondered for two seconds and nodded. “He should have had good feelings for me too.”

“I was originally thinking that a love after marriage wasn’t a bad idea, after all, Huo Yunjing’s face was indeed to my liking.” At this point, Gu Qingyin sighed, “Unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned.”
