Ch 312: What a Coincidence

As soon as Huo Xingye entered the private room, Huo Xingchen pulled Weng Yun up and introduced her proudly, “Big Brother! This is my wife, her name is Weng Yun, and she’s an intermediate Taoist Master!”

Weng Yun greeted Huo Xingye with a natural and generous demeanor, her eyes clear and her gaze firm, showing that she was a thoughtful and capable young woman.

Weng Yun didn’t decline, accepted it, and thanked him. Then, she took out a jade pendant and offered it, “This is a protective jade pendant that I made myself. It’s not as good as what Grandmother made, but it’s a token of my appreciation. I hope Big Brother won’t dislike it.”

He already had a target for tonight, “This is my friend.” He pointed to the sleeping woman, “Her name is Qin Yuexi. You can ask the Yage manager if you don’t believe me. We came together.”

The man smiled, “Since you’re friends, you should have her assistant’s phone number, right? Call her assistant and have her come pick her up. To be frank, you don’t trust me, and I don’t trust you. Handing her over to her assistant is the best way.”

Weng Yun rolled her eyes, “Why would I have her assistant’s phone number? I’m not friends with her assistant.” Weng Yun warned, “Sir, if you don’t move aside, don’t blame me for being impolite. I can take on five of you like you with one hand.”

The man scoffed, “Getting angry out of embarrassment? How could Yage let someone like you in?”

“Whose dog wasn’t leashed properly and ran out barking at my wife.” An arrogant and domineering voice came from behind, with a hint of coldness, “Yage’s standards are really getting lower and lower.”

The man turned his head to look and saw a very beautiful face, but unfortunately, it was on a man.
