Ch 323: if Line ๏ผ5๏ผ
The next evening, not long after Huo Yunjing returned home, the Qi family arrived. Father Qi, Mother Qi, Qi Anhui, and Qi Anxu, the family of four, came to apologize in full force.
The Qi family didn’t actually have much of a relationship with the Huo family. Their ability to connect with Huo Yunjing was entirely due to having a good son, Qi Anxu. Qi Anxu had been in the same class as Huo Yunjing since kindergarten, and by middle school, he had finally become Huo Yunjing’s friend.
Because of Qi Anxu’s friendship with Huo Yunjing, the Qi family’s business had been particularly easy to conduct in recent years. Even Qi Anhui’s initial thoughts about Huo Yunjing were allowed by her parents. If their daughter could marry Huo Yunjing, their Qi family could be considered to have gained a firm foothold.
At least they wouldn’t have to worry about decline for the next hundred years.
The Qi family parents had heard about Huo Yunjing’s marriage, but they didn’t really restrain Qi Anhui’s behavior. Who would have thought that things would go wrong? Qi Anhui had even publicly rebuked Huo Yunjing for being excessive.
When the Qi family parents heard about it, they almost fainted. Their daughter was truly spoiled, didn’t know the immensity of the world, and couldn’t read the room. She dared to say anything in front of people.
Last night, Qi Anhui was lectured by her parents after returning home, and ordered to reflect for a day. In the evening, they dragged her to the Huo Family Estate.
The butler led the Qi family of four into the living room.
As soon as they entered, the Qi family of four heard the babbling sounds of infants. Looking up, they saw a large area behind the sofa that had been fenced off with a baby gate, covered with a soft carpet. The three little guys were crawling around inside, chasing each other.
In the corner, Gu Qingyin, with her hair tied in a high ponytail and wearing comfortable home clothes, sat cross-legged on the carpet, watching the three of them play.
The Qi family of four were stunned.
“Impossible!” Qi Anhui couldn’t accept it. The person she liked was not only married but also had three children. “These definitely aren’t Brother Yunjing’s children!”
Gu Qingyin turned her head and glanced at them, raising her chin slightly. “Sit down, Huo Yunjing went upstairs to change, he’ll be down soon.”
The Qi family parents carefully sized up Gu Qingyin. She was indeed good-looking, but how could someone with no background marry into the Huo family? Their Anhui wasn’t bad either!
Qi Anhui glared at her with fire in her eyes. Just as she was about to speak, Qi Anxu covered her mouth. The latter smiled at Gu Qingyin, “Sister-in-law, these are President Huo’s children, right? Are they triplets?”
Gu Qingyin smiled, “Yes, almost seven months old.”
Little Xingye heard his mother talking to someone, sat up in a roll, and looked up at Qi Anxu. His small, black grape-like eyes sized him up and down, actually giving off a feeling of scrutiny.
Qi Anxu felt a little uncomfortable for no reason, raised his hand, and waved. “Hello, I’m your dad’s friend, you can call me Uncle Qi.”
Little Xingye blinked, as if confirming that he wasn’t a threat, twisted his body, and crawled away again.
Gu Qingyin smiled. “He’s the oldest, named Xingye, his personality is most like Huo Yunjing.”
Qi Anxu nodded, “I can see that.”
Qi Anhui couldn’t say anything, she was both angry and aggrieved, her eyes were red.
Qi Anxu felt a little sorry for her, but he was also helpless. He covered Qi Anhui’s mouth and led her to the sofa to sit down, whispering, “We’re here to apologize, control your temper. Without Huo Yunjing, you can still marry another man. If the family goes bankrupt and loses money, you really won’t have any choice.”

Not long after, Huo Yunjing came down from upstairs.
The three little guys were also tired from crawling and lay motionless on the carpet.
Gu Qingyin helped them turn over. Little Xingye and Little Xinghai were especially well-behaved, and they lay still without moving after being turned over. Little Xingchen, however, hummed and grunted and rolled back over, clearly not wanting to lie down.
Gu Qingyin blinked, what was going on?
Huo Yunjing greeted the Qi family parents, strode into the fence with his long legs, scooped up Little Xingchen’s butt with his big hand, and said in a light voice, “It’s time to change his diaper.”
Gu Qingyin suddenly understood, “What about them? Don’t they need to be changed?”
Huo Yunjing shook his head, “Xingchen eats a lot and pees a lot too.”
Gu Qingyin poked Little Xingchen’s head, “Little glutton.”
Little Xingchen grinned at his mother, revealing two rice grain-like white teeth, incredibly cute.
Gu Qingyin couldn’t help but smile, and picked up Little Xingchen to go upstairs to change his diaper.
Huo Yunjing took Little Xingchen from her, “Give him to Aunt Wu, you come with me to entertain the guests.”
Aunt Wu came over and took Little Xingchen away. Just as Gu Qingyin was about to go out with Huo Yunjing, she gained a pendant on her legโLittle Xingye didn’t know when he had crawled over and hugged her.
“Does Xingye also want to go with Mommy?” Gu Qingyin said with a smile, then bent down and picked up the little guy.
Huo Yunjing scoffed at the sight, “Clingy.” Then, despite what he said, he picked up Little Xinghai as well, and conveniently grabbed two teething toys, stuffing one into each of the two little guys’ mouths.
The family of four sat in a row on the sofa, facing the Qi family of four.
“Uncle and Aunt Qi, what brings you here today?” Huo Yunjing played with Little Xinghai’s chubby little legs, making lazy small talk.
Mother Qi chuckled, “The company isn’t so busy today, and we also heard about what happened last night.” As she spoke, she forcefully nudged Father Qi with her elbow.
Father Qi took a deep breath and smiled along, “Yes… Anhui is still young, don’t hold it against her, and don’t let her affect your relationship with Anxu.”
Qi Anxu was speechless. “Dad, I already said, Brother Jing isn’t so petty. It wasn’t a big deal in the first place, there’s no need for you to make such a big fuss.”
Father Qi glared at him. “It’s generous of Yunjing not to hold it against her, but we can’t take it for granted. If you do something wrong, you have to apologize.” He straightened his face and took out the authority of the head of the family. “Anhui, apologize to your Brother Yunjing and Sister-in-law.”
Of course Qi Anhui refused. Her eyes were red and she choked up, “What did I do wrong? Don’t I even have the right to like someone?”
Gu Qingyin raised her eyebrows in surprise. “What are you saying, Miss Qi? If you like someone who’s single, you can pursue them however you want. But the person you like is a married man, and the father of three children. Are you so brazen that you want to be Huo Yunjing’s mistress?”
The faces of the Qi family changed, especially the Qi family parents.
Mother Qi said with a sullen face, “Our Anhui has liked Yunjing for so many years, it’s not something she can let go of just like that. There has to be a process. Sometimes it’s excusable to not be able to control yourself when you can’t help your feelings. You’re a young girl, don’t say such harsh things.”
Huo Yunjing’s eyes darkened slightly. Just as he was about to speak, he heard Gu Qingyin say, “I understand. Since it’s so hard to let go, then why not leave this heartbreaking place and go out to heal your heart? How about France? Or Italy?”
Huo Yunjing was slightly startled, then a hint of a smile appeared in his eyes.
As expected of his wife, she never suffers a loss. Her main goal is to make anyone who doesn’t make her happy even unhappier.
