Ch 46: A Little Bewitched
The Huo Family Branch’s villa was the scene of an incident in the afternoon, and the police put up caution tape when they arrived, preventing anyone from entering. The caution tape is still there now, just fallen to the ground.
Inside the villa, it’s pitch black, as if countless monsters are lurking, waiting for prey to enter the cage and swarm them.
Gu Qingyin’s eyes were cold, and without hesitation, she pushed open the gate to the yard, stepped over the caution tape on the ground, and pushed open the villa door.
Instantly, a gust of fishy wind swept in, heading straight for Gu Qingyin’s face.
Gu Qingyin narrowed her eyes slightly, and in a flash of lightning, she saw what was attacking. She moved her feet slightly, dodging sideways, and at the same time, raised her hand to grab the attacker’s wrist.
The person in the shadows didn’t expect her to react so quickly. Caught off guard, she was grabbed squarely. Instinctively, she struggled to break free, but the hand gripping her wrist didn’t budge.
“Hiding in plain sight, you’ve really mastered it. The police have been looking for you all night, and you actually ran back. If you had honestly hidden, maybe you really could have found a chance to escape, but…” Gu Qingyin’s voice sank, anger showing, “You shouldn’t have touched my son.”
As she spoke, she suddenly exerted force in her palm. A crisp “crack” was heard, and the woman’s scream followed. At the same time, the knife in her hand also fell to the ground.
Gu Qingyin frowned irritably, kicked out with her foot, hitting Feng Xia’s waist and abdomen squarely, sending her directly back into the house.
She also stepped into the house, closing the villa door as she went, and said softly, “The night is still long, we’ll play slowly.”
That kick was probably a bit hard. Feng Xia, who had been able to scream before, was lying on the ground, even her groans of pain were very weak.
Gu Qingyin seemed quite satisfied with this. “That’s right, being so noisy late at night, what if you scare someone?”
Besides the physical pain, Feng Xia was also very frightened. Gu Qingyin’s attack was so ruthless! She’s definitely not an ordinary person!
Feng Xia regretted it, not regretting kidnapping Huo Xinghai, but regretting not making a more detailed and thorough plan. She underestimated Gu Qingyin too much.
Whether it was the speed at which Gu Qingyin found her, or Gu Qingyin’s skills, or even Gu Qingyin’s slightly bewitched temperament now, everything was beyond Feng Xia’s expectations.
What should she do now? Feng Xia was a little at a loss.
“Where’s my son?” Gu Qingyin walked up to Feng Xia and stopped, asking softly, “You didn’t hurt him, did you?”
It was clearly a very gentle and calm tone, but in Feng Xia’s ears, it sounded like the whisper of a demon, making her shudder.
Feng Xia gasped twice, enduring the pain in her abdomen, and replied intermittently, “No, I just, just brought him over…”
“That’s good.” Gu Qingyin smiled. “As long as my son isn’t hurt, everything is easy to talk about.”
Seeing her showing a very accommodating attitude, Feng Xia not only didn’t relax, but became even more nervous, and took the initiative to explain, “I put him in the cellar, he shouldn’t be awake yet.”
Gu Qingyin responded, and then politely made a request, “I don’t know where the entrance is, please take me there.”
“I might not be able to move…” Feng Xia was in pain just speaking, she suspected that her ribs were broken, and more than one.
“Hmm?” Gu Qingyin tilted her head in confusion. “Do you need my help?”
Feng Xia was silent, knowing that she had to go, or Gu Qingyin might do something to her.
“No, I’ll do it myself.” Feng Xia didn’t dare to delay, fearing that Gu Qingyin would get impatient and kick her again. She planned to sit up first, but as soon as she moved, a piercing pain came from her right ribs. Her vision went black, and she almost fainted from the pain.
“Really don’t need help?” Gu Qingyin’s voice came from the dimness above, with a hint of malicious temptation. “You seem to be in a lot of pain.”
Feng Xia couldn’t help but tremble. Taking advantage of the fact that the feeling of fear overwhelmed the pain, she quickly stood up and said weakly, “This way.”
Feng Xia moved forward step by step, Gu Qingyin followed behind her, quietly and without urging, but Feng Xia became more and more nervous, fearing that in the next second, Gu Qingyin would suddenly attack her.
With her current physical condition, she wouldn’t need much, just one hit would completely finish her off.
The journey was short, but Feng Xia was very tormented. By the time she reached the cellar entrance, she was covered in cold sweat, half from torment and half from pain.
“It’s just below.” Feng Xia leaned against the wall next to her, her voice weak.
“Well, let’s keep going then.”
Gu Qingyin obviously didn’t plan to let her go. Feng Xia held her breath and, supported by her desire to survive, started walking again.
Reaching the cellar door, Feng Xia took out the key from her pocket and struggled to open the door.
Seeing this, Gu Qingyin asked in confusion, “You even locked the door, why didn’t you remind me just now? Did you forget?”
Of course Feng Xia didn’t forget, she just wanted to create an opportunity to fight back. Although the probability of success was very small, what if? What if she succeeded, the situation would instantly reverse.
“No, my body hurts too much, I forgot for a moment.” Feng Xia’s voice sounded even weaker.
Gu Qingyin said considerately, “You’ve worked hard. After I find my son, you can rest. There should be a first aid kit in the villa, you can take some painkillers first, and then call an ambulance.”
The corners of Feng Xia’s lips twitched. “Okay.”
The cellar door opened, and Feng Xia reached into the door frame, fumbling to turn on the light, and then entered, walking down the stairs.
With each step down, Feng Xia would groan in pain.
Walking down the stairs was much more painful than walking on flat ground.
Gu Qingyin followed slowly behind her, admiring her pain while also observing the Evil Energy on her body.
Compared to the last time she saw it, the Evil Energy had grown a little stronger and had completely taken root in Feng Xia’s soul. This Evil Energy was like a key, it released the suppressed desires in Feng Xia’s heart.
In the afternoon, Feng Xia injured Fu Zimo because her emotions collapsed and her desires burst forth.
Ultimately, it was because Feng Xia had always suppressed her resentment towards Fu Zimo in her heart, and when it was stimulated by the Evil Energy, it turned into evil thoughts.
And the act of kidnapping Huo Xinghai was also because of Fu Zimo.
Because besides resentment, Feng Xia also had love for Fu Zimo in her heart, she wanted Fu Zimo to treat her better, so she planned to get rid of Fu Zimo’s nemesis.
This was also an evil thought stimulated by the Evil Energy.
In short, once Evil Energy appears on a person’s body, resentment will grow in their heart, making them more and more ferocious, and they will be able to do anything.
Down the stairs was an open space. Huo Xinghai was tied to a chair in the center of the open space, his hands and feet were bound, his eyes were blindfolded, and a ball of cloth was stuffed in his mouth.
Gu Qingyin laughed in anger, “You tied him up quite professionally.”
Feng Xia’s heart trembled. “I’ll untie him now.” As she said that, she was about to step forward, but Gu Qingyin kicked her in the back, sending her crashing to the ground.
The broken ribs were impacted, and intense pain instantly engulfed Feng Xia’s consciousness.
Gu Qingyin sneered, “One little thought after another, do you think others are stupid?”
She stepped forward to untie Huo Xinghai. Seeing that he was still unconscious, she simply picked him up and carried him out of the villa, and also called the police before leaving.
Before long, the police sealed off the villa and took Feng Xia away.
