Chapter 69: Character Introductions Part 1

  ★ Madarame Kurato （Pilot: Belphegor）
  
  A young man who was drilled in useless swordsmanship by his grandfather in modern society. After graduating from university, he worked as an ordinary office worker, but while speeding on the Metropolitan Expressway on a large motorcycle, he was enveloped by a shining wind. He has a rather serious and straightforward personality, but he is also decisive once he makes up his mind. Everyone calls him “Claude” because it’s easier to pronounce.
  
  His initial Clawsolas was the 4th unit, which he won in a duel with Dino Cervas, but soon after becoming Knight King, he switched to the 2nd generation Clawsolas, Belphegor, given to him by the neighboring country’s Lady White Fox.
  
  
  ★ Revia Lumias （Pilot: Belphegor）
  
  The young lady of the prestigious Lumias family of mages in the Lizel Knight Kingdom. Her father is Blaze, the Chief Magician serving the royal family. A cheerful, red-haired girl, she has a personality that speaks her mind without reservation. While serving as the mage for Clawsolas Unit 4, the incident where the exclusive knight of the Clawsolas was replaced occurred.
  
  Due to the nature of her duties, she spends a lot of time with Claude, and on the battlefield, they entrust their lives to each other. Because of this, she harbors a secret affection for him, though she feels apologetic to her close friend Izana.
  
  
  ★ Izana Weissbell
  
  The only daughter left behind by the previous king of the Lizel Knight Kingdom, a graceful black-haired girl who married Claude. Having lost her mother to postpartum illness, she was raised by Sariel Ander, the royal magician who acted as an older sister figure. However, after learning that Sariel was her father’s mistress, she distanced herself from her.
  
  With her father’s death while fighting for his people, she resolved herself and had Knight Captain Xenos choose her marriage partner, who would become the new king. Since then, she has strived to make her daily life happy, not just maintaining a political marriage.
  
  
  ★ Lloyd Lunavadis （Pilot: Begalta）
  
  The heir of the Lunavadis family, which has ties to the Yagyu Shinkage-ryu lineage and has repeatedly produced sword instructors for the Lizel Knight Kingdom. A gentle and refined young man with silver hair and blue eyes, he is popular among the young maids in the castle and the girls in the city. However, his extreme sister complex is a slight flaw.
  
  Tracing back their ancestry, he quickly hit it off with Claude, who is from the same region. Even after Claude became Knight King, he still speaks to him frankly outside of formal settings. Also, as he recognizes the new king’s skills and qualities, he hasn’t given up on the idea of having his sister marry him.
  
  
  ★ Eleia Lunavadis （Pilot: Begalta）
  
  A mage girl with silver hair and blue eyes who pilots the 2nd generation giant Clawsolas, Begalta, alongside her brother. However, her extreme brother complex is a slight flaw. As she is slightly younger than the trio of Revia, Fine, and Izana, she addresses them as “Onee-sama.”
  
  She has a strong thirst for knowledge, so when she isn’t clinging to her beloved brother, she can be found holed up in the study, showing her introverted side. Since her brother acknowledges Claude, she also respects him, albeit semi-automatically.
  
  
  ★ Dino Cervas （Pilot: Clawsolas L-type Modified “Guardia”）
  
  A descendant of the Azure Saint Knight who fought alongside the 3rd Knight King, and the heir of the prestigious Cervas family of knights, but… the expectations from those around him and the prestige of his family name weigh heavily on him. Initially, he piloted Clawsolas Unit 4 with his childhood friend Revia, but his position was usurped by the Rare Human Claude, who appeared out of nowhere.
  
  Due to that incident, he vowed to have a rematch and win, but with Claude becoming the Knight King, their relationship has remained somewhat awkward. However, he believes that even if he doesn’t personally like someone, he should still fulfill his duty as a knight.
  
  
  ★ Lise Feldt （Pilot: Clawsolas L-type Modified “Guardia”）
  
  A former squire with blonde hair, crimson eyes, and a voluptuous figure. Her caring personality has earned her the trust of those around her. During the battle in the Great Forest, Clawsolas Unit 5 was heavily damaged and its pilots were killed. As a result, she was chosen as the official mage for the unit after performing emergency repairs. It was then that she met the slightly younger, blue-haired knight Dino Cervas.
  
  She sees Dino, who is like a troublesome younger brother, as someone with a good heart, and after the Gigabetle subjugation, she even received an invitation for dinner and an overnight stay from him.
  
  
  ★ Xenos Danberk （Pilot: Clawsolas L-type Unit 1）
  
  The muscular Knight Captain of Lizel, a close friend of the Vice-Captain, the Chief Magician, and the previous King, who are all of the same generation. In his younger days, he served as the previous King’s escort knight, but he never stopped the King from frequently sneaking out of the castle, instead enjoying freedom alongside him.
  
  Currently, he is dedicated to training the knights, and he has high expectations for Dino, whom he considers his unworthy disciple. He has a bad habit of judging people by the amount of muscle they have upon first meeting them.
  
  
  ★ Fine Danberk （Pilot: Clawsolas L-type Unit 1）
  
  An orphan who was discovered by the Chief Magician Blaze and brought together with Knight Captain Xenos, who was in despair after losing his beloved wife. At first, their relationship as father and daughter was awkward, but over the years they came to understand each other, and now they can speak frankly without holding back.
  
  Incidentally, due to the connection between their fathers, she has been close friends with Izana and Revia since childhood, and they often consult with her about Claude. On the battlefield, she pilots the Clawsolas L-type with her adoptive father, supporting everyone with her specialty earth magic, “Stonehenge.”
  
  
  ★ Blaze Lumias
  
  The Chief Magician of the Lizel Knight Kingdom and the current head of the prestigious Lumias family of mages. He is also the head of the civil officials who served the previous King and managed domestic affairs. This remains unchanged under the new Knight King, and he reluctantly pretends to be the creator of the domestically produced Clawsolas Svel, promoting the military strengthening plan.
  
  Recently, his only daughter Revia seems to be getting along well with the Knight King, and as an aide, he is often forced to witness their closeness, which is causing him some anxiety…
  
  
  ★ Raizes Eckehart
  
  The Vice-Captain of the Lizel Knights, a middle-aged warrior, and a master of spear techniques. Few within the country can match him. Those close to him appreciate his cautious nature, as he “wouldn’t cross a bridge without smashing it first,” and his insight, which allows him to handle both military and civil official duties. However, he is concerned about his lack of aptitude for piloting Clawsolas.
  
  He has been friends with the previous King and the Knight Captain since their youth. Back then, he used to leave the reins of the often-reckless duo to the Chief Magician, but he has volunteered to be a watchdog for the new Knight King.
  
  
  ★ Ishido Kotono （Pilot: Svel S-type Unit 1）
  
  An archery girl who got lost on her way home from club activities and ended up in a parallel world, forced to live a survival life. She has a frank but realistic personality, and the only people she truly trusts are Kurato, who is from the same world, and old man Souichirou.
  
  If she had to say, she is starting to think that she might be able to trust Dino and Lise, who picked her up, and her partner mage, Iris. Her Clawsolas is the newly manufactured domestically produced Svel S-type, and she wields a bow and arrow specifically developed as a weapon for the unit.
