Ch 134: A Blessing In Disguise
The Electric Eel quickly turned its head, continuously swimming rapidly in the water, seemingly searching for the next perfect opportunity to attack.
Then, the Electric Eel released a slight Electric Current. Another strangely shaped Exotic Beast received the attack signal, leaping from the water on the other side. Its speed was extremely fast, and its target was directly Fu Xiyao.
Li Yu’s reaction was equally swift. Almost the instant the Exotic Beast leaped from the water’s surface, he shot another Arrow.

After the shot, Li Yu quickly turned around to nock an arrow. His Eyes were fixed on the enormous Electric Eel. His Bow and Arrow were fully drawn, the Bowstring taut.
The Electric Eel seemed to sense the Danger. It quickly submerged in the water, attempting to avoid the attack.

Li Yu’s Arrow shot out like a meteor, directly aimed at the Electric Eel’s head.
The Armor-Piercing Arrow rapidly shot into the water. Although its Speed was greatly reduced, it still easily hit the Electric Eel’s head.

The Electric Eel’s head was pierced by the Arrow, instantly bursting open and splashing up a high wave of water.

“What should we do? Can Xiao Hei be saved?” Fu Xiyao choked up, her tears uncontrollably streaming down her face.
Residual Electric Current flickered on Xiao Hei’s head. Li Yu gently pried open Xiao Hei’s mouth to check. Suddenly, a dim Exotic Beast Core fell out of Xiao Hei’s mouth—the one he had fed Xiao Hei earlier.
“Exotic Beast Core!” Li Yu instantly thought of something.
“The Electric Eel’s Core might save Xiao Hei.”
Li Yu didn’t hesitate. He quickly went to the Water Area and forcefully pulled the floating corpse of the Electric Eel upward.
Even in death, the Electric Eel’s body, over ten meters long, still glowed with a faint Blue Light. The electric cells on its body were still active.
Li Yu took out his Dagger and quickly cut open the Electric Eel’s body. Finally, in the rear part of the Electric Eel’s corpse, he found a golden-yellow Exotic Beast Core.
The Radiance showed that this Core was extremely full of Electric Energy. This Exotic Beast Core was considerably larger than any he had seen before.
“Xiao Hei, hold on!” Fu Xiyao continuously stroked Xiao Hei. Her Voice was full of encouragement. Rainwater and tears fell together onto Xiao Hei’s body.
Li Yu picked up the golden-yellow Core and quickly returned. Without hesitation, he immediately pried open Xiao Hei’s mouth and fed the Core to Xiao Hei, then gently closed its mouth.
As soon as the Core entered, Xiao Hei’s body was suddenly enveloped by a faint Electric Current. Static electricity crackled.
Fu Xiyao received two shocks and quickly retracted her hand, anxiously watching for any changes in Xiao Hei.
After a few minutes, Xiao Hei’s Breathing became stronger. Under the charred Mane, an Electric Current seemed to be flowing. Thunder Power continuously gathered on Xiao Hei’s four hooves.
After a while, Xiao Hei’s body suddenly convulsed violently.
Just as Fu Xiyao was worried and at a loss, Xiao Hei suddenly opened its Eyes. A bolt of Thunder and Lightning shot from its mouth, striking the Ground nearby.
“Hiss hiss.”
Xiao Hei let out a loud cry, then suddenly jumped up, vigorous and seemingly fully recovered.
“It worked!” Fu Xiyao exclaimed joyfully, immediately stepping forward to comfort Xiao Hei.
Li Yu also breathed a sigh of relief. He gently patted Xiao Hei’s head.
“You lazy thing, you scared me to death.”
Xiao Hei seemed very happy with its transformation, continuously nuzzling Li Yu with its large head.
Then, as if showing off, it ran a circle in front of the two. Xiao Hei’s Speed was extremely fast, and Electric Current continuously surged through its four hooves.
