Ch 144: The Ghostly Being’s White Shadow

Li Yu’s main force, clad in uniform camouflage uniforms, advanced in a mighty stream.

They clearly looked untouchable.

Some vagrants even mistook the crowd for a migrating Safe Zone, wanting to migrate behind the main force; they were all driven away by Ma Yuanbai’s men.

The three fell straight to the Ground, dead before Li Yu and the others.

What was now before them were no longer living Humans, but lifeless corpses!

This sudden terrifying scene stunned everyone present.

Li Yu and his group immediately became alert, their gazes fixed on the corpses ahead.

“Is there something over there?” Ma Yuanbai whispered tremblingly, seemingly terrified of the “filth” the vagrants had shouted before they died.

Seeing Ma Yuanbai’s extreme nervousness, Li Yu dared not be careless, hurriedly turning to confirm with Fu Xiyao:

“Is there something?”

“Nothing…” Fu Xiyao sensed around, shaking her head.

She had noticed the vagrants running desperately but hadn’t detected anyone or any Exotic Beasts chasing them.

Now, Fu Xiyao sensed again carefully, still finding nothing.

“Did these people suffer an Illusion, or were they poisoned?” Li Yu was full of doubt.

Li Yu looked up. Under the obstruction of the night and rain mist, he vaguely saw something white by the corpses.

“What is that?” Fu Xiyao was astonished because she saw it too.

As the Woman in White slowly drifted over, a chilling Cold Qi instantly rose from Ma Yuanbai’s back, almost causing him to fall to the Ground.

Not only was Ma Yuanbai afraid, but even Xiao Hei under Li Yu was also staring in terror.

Xiao Hei stood there, not daring to move, afraid that even a movement of its hooves would disturb the other party.
