Ch 140: Xiao Hui’s World

Seeing Xiao Hui’s excitement, Ji Chuan found it strange.

Ji Chuan wanted to say there was only one intelligent Race, the Human Race, and Zombies only appeared during the Apocalypse, but didn’t interrupt Xiao Hui.

“The Werewolf Clan is one Race among the Beastmen. There are also Tiger-people, Deer People… each large Race has many small Races and factions. Other large Races include the Elf Race, Undead, Demons, Dwarves, Ancient Gods… many.”

“Does your world have Special Abilities?”

“Special Abilities, it’s like abilities, each Race has abilities they’re good at. Beastmen mostly have abilities that enhance their bodies, but Elves and Demons have magic, which is more similar to the Special Abilities in this world.”

Ji Chuan’s pupils constricted. A very absurd thought suddenly struck him, shocking him.

Blood Moon, Zombies, Crystal Cores, Special Abilities, the shifting Gate…

These elements, which shouldn’t exist in this world, were common in another world.

Is this a coincidence? What if the anomalies in this world all come from another world?

Could the unknown beyond the Gate be from Xiao Hui’s world?

He needs to explore further. In this world, he might be a strong person.

But what about in Xiao Hui’s world? Ji Chuan frowned.

Ji Chuan snapped back to reality, intending to ask Xiao Hui more about the Slime Race. Although it could understand his commands, the Slime couldn’t speak, so it couldn’t answer many questions.

“Do you know about Slimes?”

“They’re very common in our world, a low-level Magical Creature. Their general attack method is a simple collision. After growing, they will learn some corrosive stomach fluid-like abilities. However, yours is probably not ordinary.”

“Ordinary Slimes are light blue. This one looks very different and probably has some special ability. In my world, such special individuals are also very rare, and I don’t know much about them. They’re not on the Werewolf Clan’s menu.”

So the anime got it right; normal Slimes are blue. Since it’s a rare individual, I’ll just keep it. Low-level Magical Creatures shouldn’t be of much use.
