Ch 210: Mirror of the Heart
After discovering a way to rescue Xu Hui, Ji Chuan could now proceed with his plan. If killing Tang Yue didn’t change his fate of being erased this time, he would try Soul Reshaping on Xu Hui next.
But would Tang Yue still be Tang Yue after Soul Reshaping? Shouldn’t he first find a way to preserve Tang Yue’s soul before making a final attempt?
Ji Chuan decided to finish this attempt first. He transferred Xu Hui back to the Stronghold. The long-term torment had left him in poor condition. Compared to his confident demeanor during past Stronghold attacks, he now looked like a frail patient.
To avoid wasting time, Ji Chuan went to Jinglian City and found Luo Jiayou, who hadn’t gone berserk yet, bringing him and his brother back to the Stronghold.
Arriving in Changrong City, Ji Chuan, following his previous memory, went to the pharmacy and found many asthma inhalers for Hui Hui.
When his figure suddenly appeared in the mother and daughter’s home, the woman was startled, but she showed some surprise upon seeing the medicine in his hand.
Without medication for much longer, they would have to risk going out to search. The other party seemed to be offering help.
Ji Chuan didn’t speak. After putting down the medicine, he silently left, leaving the woman to express her gratitude.
Next, he had to talk to Tang Yue. He went to Tang Yue’s Room.
“Leader?”
Tang Yue looked curious. Ji Chuan had almost never entered her room.
“Xiao Yue, what’s happening is hard to explain. I’ve already lived through this day three times. The first two times, you fell into a coma after using Rebirth during the Jinglian City attack, but time progressed normally.”

Tang Yue’s expression was calm, which surprised Ji Chuan.
“Aren’t you afraid?”

“Chuan-ge, you saved both Mom and me. Don’t feel burdened. I’ve only used my Special Ability once. You protected me too well; I haven’t had a chance to use it. It’s a good opportunity to try.”
Tang Yue smiled easily; Ji Chuan’s expression was serious.
“I won’t let you suffer. Are you ready?”
Tang Yue nodded. Shadow Power formed into a thin needle and instantly pierced Tang Yue’s head.
The Crystal Core in Tang Yue’s body disappeared, but unexpectedly, Ji Chuan could now acutely observe the flow of Energy.
He saw Tang Yue’s Crystal Core rapidly flying upwards towards a Vortex Gate. Ji Chuan’s eyes widened in surprise.
In the past, because he wasn’t as powerful as he is now, he had never discovered the method of Rebirth. It seems that the Vortex Gate is the key to time travel.
In the blink of an eye, the Crystal Core entered the gate, and the Vortex Gate quickly closed. It was unknown where Tang Yue had been reborn.
Ji Chuan had noticed something was wrong. To have enough time to talk to Tang Yue, it clearly wasn’t yet the time he was erased last time.
But he felt his vision blurring and his consciousness fading, faster than last time. He was erased almost instantly after Tang Yue’s Crystal Core disappeared.

Ji Chuan remained in the sky above the Elf Forest, unable to recover. Laila waited respectfully below for Ji Chuan’s response. Although she didn’t know what the God was doing, waiting would suffice.
Ji Chuan immediately returned to the white Space. He needed to observe the changes in the gate and consider whether to have Xu Hui act directly.
But the number on the gate had changed, from “2” to “1”.
He had thought the number represented the number of times he’d entered the Vortex Gate. The current change made Ji Chuan realize it was the remaining number of entries.
Ji Chuan abandoned the idea of entering. The clues were all his speculations. He had thought he could make countless mistakes, but now he only had one attempt left. He had to be absolutely certain before using it.
He returned from the Space to reality. The Elves were still waiting for him.
After the God of Faith’s progress exceeded 50%, Ji Chuan found this Special Ability more powerful than others. He didn’t know what would happen if it was fully unlocked. This strengthened his resolve not to use the God of Death’s ability, opting to make the God of Faith his Chief Divinity.
Ji Chuan descended slowly, his expression still thoughtful.
“Thank you, God, for saving the Elf race. The Elf race will follow you and offer the treasure guarded by our race as a token of our gratitude.”
Ji Chuan wasn’t particularly interested in the treasure, as his current abilities were almost overwhelmingly powerful in this world. What use would a treasure be?

“Let’s go, take me to see it.”
Ji Chuan’s eyes lit up. He retracted his previous thoughts; he was excited when he heard the treasure’s function.
Because he always had one question: Where was Lin Lulu?
Could this artifact help him see Lin Lulu? He hoped to see Lin Lulu through the Mirror of the Heart; it would at least prove she wasn’t dead.
Flying to the Tree of Life, this massive tree was like a complex Castle. The Elves had built countless rooms on the tree.
Laila led Ji Chuan to a hidden room inside the tree. In the center of the room was an exquisite circular frame. Because there was nothing inside, it was hard to tell it was a mirror.
“God, this is the Mirror of the Heart.”
Ji Chuan walked forward, somewhat puzzled. This circular frame was actually a mirror? Where was the mirror surface?
He curiously held the circular frame in his hand. Could this show him where Lin Lulu was?
“This is…”
Ji Chuan’s eyes widened. The frame, which had been empty, now showed an image.
“Lulu!”
Ji Chuan was excited because he saw Lin Lulu lying on an Altar? What was she doing there?
Around the Altar were Sheep People. Ji Chuan’s figure vanished instantly.
“God?”
Laila was dazed. Who had made the God so excited…
Ji Chuan went directly to Xiao La’s room. Xiao La was lying down, exhausted from having just finished giving birth.
“Master!”
Xiao La was excited; the God hadn’t returned in a long time.
“Where is the Sheep People Tribe’s territory?”
Ji Chuan was anxious. He hadn’t expected Lin Lulu to be in the same world as him. Beastmen only existed in this world, and her being unconscious on an Altar felt dangerous.
“The Sheep People? Master, the Sheep People are too weak; they don’t have a territory. They’re always running around.”
“How could that be? Look, they have an Altar, and the surrounding environment looks like a Village.”
Ji Chuan held up the Mirror of the Heart to show Xiao La, but Xiao La was puzzled because he only saw an empty frame.
Seeing Xiao La’s expression, Ji Chuan understood he couldn’t see it.
Xiao La wouldn’t lie to him. Would Sheep People without a territory build an Altar and a Village? Could this not be his world?
