Ch 243: Observing Lin Lulu

Ji Chuan went to the Royal City and found Arthur. He roughly told him the situation, and Arthur let Ji Chuan choose any room he wanted.

He chose a room roughly the same size as the stronghold, recalling the layout of Lin Lulu’s room, and arranged it the same way to surprise her.

He took a piece of parchment and, mimicking Lin Lulu’s handwriting, wrote “Add Oil!!!” and stuck it on the bookshelf.

Ji Chuan hesitated whether to write about finding the remaining half of the Oracle Star Disk, but he wasn’t sure if his understanding was correct.

If his understanding was wrong, would Lin Lulu be trapped in the Different World trying to complete the task he set?

Ji Chuan chose not to write any clues, letting Lin Lulu explore on her own. Maybe she could return to the original world before him.

He excitedly watched the Mirror of the Heart, like a elementary school student observing an ant castle.

Lin Lulu, who was still bewildered in Olovia a moment ago, was stopped by an Elf the next second, who led her towards the Royal City.

Ji Chuan was captivated, seemingly finding the feeling of playing a simulation game.

Lin Lulu looked around all the way, her mouth barely closed. Seeing Lin Lulu’s awestruck expression, Ji Chuan wanted to laugh.

Arriving at the Royal City, Ji Chuan saw Lin Lulu holding half of the Oracle Star Disk in her hand. Ji Chuan carefully observed the pattern on the Oracle Star Disk; it was indeed the half he had left.

Lin Lulu looked at the object strangely, frowning and muttering a few words.

“That dead girl is definitely cursing me…”

Although Ji Chuan couldn’t hear the sound in the image, he guessed this based on his understanding of Lin Lulu.

After Lin Lulu chatted with the Elf for a few sentences, the Elf led Lin Lulu to the room Ji Chuan prepared for her.

Ji Chuan looked forward to Lin Lulu’s reaction when she entered the room.

Lin Lulu entered the room, and Ji Chuan saw her eyes widen instantly. She excitedly circled the room and discovered the parchment on the bookshelf.

She laughed while holding the parchment, and Ji Chuan laughed along with her. Just as Ji Chuan was about to see what Lin Lulu would do next, the image in the Mirror of the Heart disappeared.

Ji Chuan patted the frame, “Didn’t get enough, it’s out of battery again…”

Maybe after Lin Lulu finds the clues, I can use her clues to leave too?

But will Lin Lulu find the clues? Simple-mindedness being a blessing is not impossible. Ji Chuan put the Mirror of the Heart back in place with some lingering regret.
